1910.0[]

Britain, France and Russia are in the Triple Entente. Germany, Italy and Austria-Hungary are in the Triple Alliance. In Portugal, dissent for the monarchy begins, especially by the Republican Party which has been growing since the assassination of King Carlos I. The Bosnian Crisis has created increased tensions in the Balkans, though it has been essentially solved, and tensions have been furthered with the Young Turks' Revolution, and installment of the Three Pashas in the Ottoman Empire as a triumvirate. Chile, Argentina and Brazil are in a naval arms race as are Germany and Britain. A revolt in Spain's region in Morocco among the Rifians there prompts a Spanish invasion of their tribal lands to quell the uprising.

  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also begin construction. Monarch Vajiravudh begins plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Spain: Spain, at least for now, remains neutral in the growing tensions between the Triple Alliance and the Triple Entente. However, we continue our invasion of the Rifians in Morocco, hoping to quell the rebellion. We warn all powers from recognizing the sovereignty of these Rifians, as this will upset us, possibly enough to have us join the other side. Spain increases its Navy and Technology. We begin influencing Portugal (Turn One of Ten), and consider invading Portugal should a coup or civil war occur during the growing dissent in Portugal.
    • The UK warns Spain that if Spain invades Portugal the UK will come to Portugal's aid, due to our alliance.
      • This is a mere hypothetical if civil war were to break out, or a militant coup were to occur. We hope that in those situations, you'd consider yourself not bound by the alliance.
  • United States: With William Howard Taft as our current President, we begin to rapidly improve our railroad system across the entire country. We encourage small businesses and develop anti-trust laws that protect these small businesses from rapidly being overtaken by major corporations. We also enact policies that further increase states' individual rights on racial segregation. With the film industry rapidly rising in popularity, we encourage the development of more educational and historical films in order to increase patriotism among our citizens. Development of the Panama Canal continues, with more and more immigrants from former Spanish colonies such as Cuba and Puerto Rico enlisting to work in the canal. In terms of military, we slowly begin to increase our national armies and navies in order to protect the American mainland from foreign invasions. We continue to be isolationist, and we eventually plan to form a Non-Aligned Faction with other neutral countries once a major war arises in Europe and abroad. However, despite this we still offer the European nations of Spain, Germany, Sweden, and Austria-Hungary trade agreements and temporary defensive pacts. We also increase relations with the United Kingdom and Russia.
    • Spanish Dip: We accept.
    • Russian Dip: We agree and propose a ship line Vladivostok-San Francisco.
    • American Dip: We accept the offer of the ship line.
  • Empire of Japan: We begin mandatory conscription into our armed forces. More bridges and railways are constructed to help transport goods, both military and civilian, more efficiently. We request to hold a summit with other western nations in East Asia amid our concerns with the West in East Asia and the welfare of the East Asian populations under European control. The summit is to be held in Tokyo, in June of 1910. We further modernize Hokkaido and give incentive to former samurai to join as military strategists and officers.
    • Korea: We set up a governor-general position to Japanese commanders in Korea. The cabinet and other domestic political jobs will go to ethnic Koreans in the area. We build factories in Seoul. We continue to integrate both Japanese and Korean cultures together while cutting out any Qing influence. We fortify the border between Korea and Qing China with troops and heavy artillery.
    • Formosa: We continue integrating Taiwanese and Japanese culture together. We introduce Taiwanese Kana, a way to write Taiwanese Hokkien in kana but still letting the language flourish.
    • Russian Dip: As part of our administration reform, the different Asian populations are given equal rights.
    • American Dip: We agree to attend the summit in Tokyo, and we will send our Ambassador of Japan.
    • German Dip We would like you to join the Central Powers to get back at the evil Japanese.
  • Austria-Hungary: We begin modernising our army and ships are built in the navy. We accept the trade request from the USA and offer trade requests to Germany and ask them for joint military accesses. We build a railway system from Vienna to Budapest. We send troops to stop Yugoslav nationalists spread their ideas. We send an proclamation to Serbia demanding they end supplying nationals. We influence the Balkans. We demand all nations even Germany and Italy not to get involved in our endeavours in the Balkans.
    • Russian Dip: Czar Mikhail, in an ironic tone, asks what would happen if we get involved. He says he is not scared by him and still guarantees Serbia and Montenegro. Any move on them will be seen as an aggression.
    • Austro-Hungarian Dip: We tell Czar Mikhail to mind his own business and to stop aiding Serbia and Montenegro.
    • Russian Dip: The Czar says he doesn't mind Franz Josef's threats and makes a tour through Serbia and Montenegro. We remind Austria that while we might not be as developed, we are twice as fierce and with stronger allies than you. We'd in their place find another place for expansion than Eastern Europe.
  • Sweden: We begin to militarise our troops and build military. We accept USA's trade agreement and temporary defensive pacts. Our troops begin to recruit as soon as possible, while we build defensive fortifications in our country for defense. The modernization of the buildings begins in Stockholm and Malmo.
    • Russian Dip: We invite the Swedish king to St. Petersburg in order to discuss the fate of the Aland Islands.
  • Serbia: As tensions rise within the Balkans. We warn Austria-Hungary not to be aggressive in the Balkans while we supply Bosnian nationalists. We continue to improve our army with ordering of more rifles and ammunition for our troops. In an attempt to build our economy we push for the construction of more industry. Military and economic turn
    • Russian Dip: We ask Serbia to turn down the nationalism a bit, but we agree that Austria wants to invade the Balkans. We offer protection, but we ask that the Serbian government does not do anything stupid that could initiate a war. If it does, we will not help out.
    • Serb Dip: We will refrain from provoking a war between Austria and Serbia. Yet we will continue to make propaganda although will not provide arms to the Balkan nations.
  • The Netherlands: While officially remaining neutral in relations between the Triple Entente and Triple Alliance, we lean toward Germany and her allies, and offer trade agreements to Germany, Austria-Hungary, Italy, and Belgium, as well as offering a secret alliance with Germany. We begin influencing Luxembourg (Turn One of 20). Seeing that the increasing tensions will inevitably lead to war, the military and navy are expanded with the use of groups of soldiers from Dutch colonies.
  • Ottoman Empire: We begin to work on our army and begin to use propaganda against Arab nationalism mostly aiming at the youth. We begin to work on fixing our Economy and begin to replace mayors and police chiefs with better and that are corrupt. With the young Turk revolution are quickly replace with a sultan named Hasan Ahmed Abdülkerim and deport or kill the ring leaders. We will stay neutral with the tension in Europe. We ask Russia if we can buy their Mosin nagant rifle for our army. We ask the US if they would like to buy oil from us.
    • Russian Dip: We would like to sell you, however, we are wary of the Ottoman friendship with Germany. However, we'd ask the Ottomans to join an alliance with Russia and France in order to keep the Balkans safe from German expansionism.
  • Switzerland: We begin to work and recruit more men to our army as citizens fear of a foreign military invasion. We begin to make rifles that are Swiss Made. We continue to improve and work on our infrastructure. (Mil/infra)
    • Russian Dip: We offer protection to Switzerland.
  • Qing Dynasty: Growing unrest in the urban areas increase as dissatisfaction with the ruling monarchy intensifies, leading to some small-scale uprisings and revolts that are easily put down by the army. One revolutionary, going by the name of Lee Jin Tao, escapes a political crackdown in Shanghai. Tao, an academic who has studied in Western Countries for years, sees the thousand-year rot infecting China. He establishes the Federal Army of Chinese Liberation, aimed with giving the people a greater say in the obviously declining government. They quickly garner 12 million supporters, and stage near-simultaneous revolts in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Xian, and other major Chinese cities. The Imperial government, desperate to keep control of the country, tries to create a temporary compromise by appointing Lee Jin Tao as China's first prime minister. Showing complete disdain for the monarchy, but for now satisfied with being given enough control to help the people , he quickly issues reforms to the agricultural and industrial sectors, earning the ire of the monarchy.Scholars are sent into France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. (Mil/eco turn)
    • Russian Dip: The Qing emperor is invited to St. Petersburg and Russia offers support to China and asks for reconciliation between the two powers.
  • Bulgaria: We begin to improve our own military by building more weapons and enact a law to allow mobilization to go to 10% of our population. We send an alliance offer to Russia, Germany and Great Britain.
    • Russian Dip: We will only accept if you retire your alliance proposal to Germany.
    • British: Same as above.
    • Bulgaria: We will comply with your demands.
  • Russian Empire: We report a major tragedy, as one day, Czar Nicholas I, along with his wife and all children disappear with their ship. Only Tsarevich Alexei survives, who reports of the sinking of the ship. However, he dies three days afterwards. Nicholas' brother, Mikhail, takes over and is crowned Czar. Two days afterwards, his son Georgyi is born. Mikhail is initiating reforms, in order to bring peace between the minorities and Russians. We offer negotiations to Sweden over the Aland Islands. Seeing that maintaining Poland into the Empire would only cost the Empire, which is needed elsewhere, we ask the Congress if Poland desires independence and on what terms. Russia begins a major policy of literizing the majority of the population, along with an administrative reform, which will lead the country into peace. Our protectorates Khiva and Bukhara is offered either annexation and separate administration of them, akin to Scotland, or independence, but with putting a Romanov on the throne some time in the future. The minorities of Russia are asked to send representatives at a meeting in the Winter Palace in order to discuss the future of Russia. Exiled reporter Vladimir Ulyanov is also invited along with his partner Lev Trotsky to the Winter Palace, in order to discuss and reconcile. However, Stalin is assassinated by the Russian secret police in the same night as the invitation is sent to the two. A modernization of the army and navy is started, as well as an industrialization, akin to the British one. We ask Great Britain, Japan, the US and France for plans for the industrial parts. Romania is also given the chance of a Russian protectorate, in return, the province of Bessarabia will be given to them, as we see these wish for unification. We also send a warning to our cousin Wilhelm, telling him that the Austrian Kaiser seems to grow mad. As much as we hate Germany, we send you this piece of advice. We also ask Peru if they wish for a trade agreement and/or alliance.
    • Swedish Dip: We accept negotiations over Aland Islands.
    • Polish Dip: we propose Russia to sign a contract on this terms
      1. Poland gets full independence.
      2. In Poland a parliamentary republic is established.
      3. The Republic of Poland gets all the territory of the former Congress Poland
      4. Russia is allowing the Poles the opportunity to move to Poland
      5. Russia may continue to hold former Russian state-owned enterprises in Poland or get for them a monetary compensation
      6. Russia signs a military alliance with Poland and becomes a protectorate of it.
    • Russian Dip: We agree and at the day of inauguration, Czar Mikhail travels to Warsaw to celebrate with the Polish.
    • Japanese Dip: Emperor Meiji agrees to talks in Tokyo about treatments of East Asians under European control. He HIGHLY RECOMMENDS OTHER WESTERN NATIONS TO JOIN IN.
    • Stalin was already in exile in Siberia at this time.
    • Honestly I don't care. I'll have this man killed.
    • It's highly implausible to have the Communist leaders, Lenin and Trotsky, invited, but to kill a mere lower ranking official in the Communist movement. Either kill them all, exile them all, or invite them all (or let them start a commie revolution).
  • Poland: 12th March becomes a national holiday, called "Independence Day". The first parliamentary elections occur. The majority ,with 36% of votes, gets the socialist democrat party "Proletariat of Poland". Ryszard Sowiński becomes the first Prime Minister of Poland. He proclaims his main objectives of his term: modernization, diversification and industrialization of the Polish economy. Poland spread Polish nationalism in Krakow, Galicia, Pozen. Organized revolutionary groups that lead propaganda activity among German and Austrian Poles. Reformed tax laws, It should attract foreign investment to Poland.
  • El Imperio Mexicano: In a quick revolution following some unclarity of the presidency, the empire is reinstalled with 38 year old María Josepha Sophia de Iturbide being declared Empress Maria I de Iturbide. Agnatic Primogeniture will be the manner of succession. Princess Maria, a child of one years old, is declared heir. Empress Maria's husband Johann Tunkl agrees to make the marriage a matrilineal marriage due to Maria's new status of empress. Guatemala is invaded
    • Russian Dip: We recognize the fellow empire and ask for a possible betrothal of Prince George Romanov, Tsarevich of Russia to Princess Maria de Iturbide, heir to the Mexican Empire.
  • Belgium: We declare war on Luxembourg in an attempt to unite the two countries. We also improve our army, and economy.  *Brazil: Economy, infrastructure and military improve. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 24.0 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 100,000 soldiers, 10,000 cavalries and 3000 number of artillery. Fewer churches, harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops and mining plants are built. Roads and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. Requests USA, British Empire, France, Russia and Argentina for alliance and trade agreements. Begins mobilization.
    • Russian Dip: We agree, but we miss the old Brazilian Empire.
    • Argentinian Diplomacy: We accept the trade agreements, but decline the alliance, suggesting a non-aggression pact instead **American Dip: We accept the offers of alliance and trade agreements.
  • Argentina: We celebrate our centennial year with huge celebrations. The Trans-Andrean Tunnel is opened, linking us with Chile by rail. Two hundred women convene in Buenos Aires for the first Congreso Femenino Internacional. A group of Argentinian soldiers accidentally attack Paraguayan forces, sparking a border dispute. We continue to improve our economy, with our Per Capita income 400% higher than Brazil's. (Mil/Eco turn)
  • France: we Further expand our military, which now includes 700,000 active duty soldiers. Economy improves.
    • German Dip: We ask if you want to join the Central Powers.
  • Germany: We support Belgium in there invasion of Luxembourg. We do not want to fight in the Balkans with Austria. We would like Argentina and Brazil to join the Central Power. We build our navy. We support Polish independence. we would like Mexico to join the Central Powers. We build our naval presence in the North Sea, and the French-German border. We build loads of roads. We build our army.(Mil/infa)
    • Austro-Hungarian Dip: We ask for join-military access and a trade agreement.
    • Read the rules. No infra improvement matters.

1910.5[]

Mexico makes some gains in Guatemala. However, there are several tensions occurring in Mexico, and support of the Empress is low. The military considers a coup, while some revolutionaries consider some sort of revolt. Albania begins a full-scale revolt against the rule of the Ottoman Empire. An investigation by the Russian government finds that the Communist Party is responsible for the death of Czar Nicholas II and his family. Lev Trotsky and Vladimir Ulyanov are detained.

  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. Also, construction continues on new ports. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • United States: William Howard Taft still serves as President. We continue to support small businesses against massive corporations, resulting in a major influx of small businesses appearing all over the country. We also continue developing our railroad system and general infrastructure. The Panama Canal continues being built, and many industry professionals predict that the Canal will be fully completed by 1912. We secretly fund the Mexican military in their attempt to overthrow the Mexican Empress, and we encourage them to form a pro-American democracy. We continue to slowly bolster our armies and navies, and we offer $10 million to the UK in return that they sell us the Bahamas and Bermuda.
    • Chinese Dip: We  would like American scientists, engineers and military instructors to assist China in her modernization. We would offer $10 million (combined) to these people, and guarantee them safety while working in China and favorable working condition. **American Dip: We send our best scientists to Beijing.
    • UK declines.
    • Russian Dip: We ask the US to let the Empress be, as we like the monarchy and we try to make them friendly.
  • Empire of Japan: Emperor Meiji declares an isolationist policy and completely withdraws from world politics. We declare neutrality on any conflict to happen. We end conscription and cut off trade with most nations except the US, China and Russia. The Anglo-Japanese Alliance is officially terminated.
    • Korea: Conscription is ended.
    • Formosa: Conscription is ended.
    • He's Emperor Meiji. His legacy is that he ended isolation. He wouldn't switch back. Neutrality is fair, but not isolation. *Ottoman Empire: We begin to work on our army and begin to use propaganda against Arab nationalism mostly aiming at the youth. We ask the US if they would like to buy oil from us With goal of improving relationships with Russia we ask them if they would like to buy oil from us. With a revolt we send troop (20,000) to fight Albania attacking Elbasan and Tirana using air power and our navy to set up blockaded around Albania. *China: The Royal Family accepts' the Russian offer to meet in St.Petersburg to discuss the reconciliation offer. However, Lee Jin Tao, with popular support from the people, quickly declare the end of the Qing Dynasty in the absence of the Emperor and proclaim the formation of the Chinese Federation. 'The Federation claims to be the''''' sole representative of China and the Chinese people in international politics. With Lee Jin Tao declaring himself as president of the Federation, he divides China into provinces, with Beijing being the capital, and Tibet being declared an autonomous region. To repair the decades of stagnation that plagued China, Tao invokes massive reforms. First, the resources in Manchuria are recognized, with its iron and steel ores being acted upon through the establishment of multiple mines and quarries, giving China a surplus of these materials. Manchuria, also possessing rich soil, sees an influx of farmers into it, tilling and farming the land. In the meantime, massive industrialization efforts in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Xian are invoked, with the Shanghai-Beijing railway being constructed to transport people and goods faster. Factories are built Guangdong, with China desiring to be a key exporter because of its massive labor force and large resource deposits. Conscription is enacted, with the Chinese Federation Armed Forces (CFAF) possessing 500,000 soldiers. All of whom are either inadequately equipped and trained. We offer Russia a warming of relations, in exchange for their recognition of us as the legitimate government. **Russian Dip: We refuse to recognize the Federation, as they are overthrowing one of the purest lines of Asia. We host the Qing family in St. Petersburg and build a palace in an East Asian style.
    • American Dip: We happily recognise the Federation, and we offer them an alliance.
  • UK: Anger at the Japanese erupts. Meanwhile, we build up the military. We recognize the Chinese Federation as the legitimate government.
    • Serbian Dip: We would like to purchase 130,000 Lee- Enfield rifles and pay for them over the next seven years. *Sweden: We continue to build and work our army and troops. Military can gain more recruitment from Swedish troops. We begin to invest economy for various reasons. Some planned buildings like windmills and farms will be built for supplies and energy. *Poland: For the industrialization of Poland, we decided not to rely on the purchase of industrial equipment,  but build by ourselves. Poland sent Britain, France and England  a request for training opportunities in technical disciplines for Poles.
  • El Imperio Mexicano: A push for Guatemala City is made. Empress Maria gives birth to a son, the new heir, Prince Agustin. The birth of a son strengthens the support for the empress. She keeps a guard of the 30 best soldiers in the Empire around her.
  • Austro-Hungarian Dip: We would like for Princess Sophie to be betrothed to Princess Sophie.
  • Serbia: We set up the Belgrade military academy for the training of our officers. We keep sending propaganda into other Balkan nations. We try to set up more industry in the capital. Mil/ Eco turn
  • Belgium: We send 100,000 troops to Luxembourg to take it. I also make more railroad and I better the army.
  • Argentina: We begin to fund pro-Argentinian rebels in Mexico, alongside Pro-Central Powers ones. We agree, in secret, to align ourselves with the Central Powers if we can get Chile, Paraguay and some African colonies. Noting a potential war with Brazil may arise if war breaks out, we request alliances with Peru, Bolivia and Colombia (MOD RESPONSE NEEDED) (Mil/Eco turn)
    • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Peru Declines.
    • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Bolivia Accepts.
    • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Colombia Declines.
  • Russian Empire: We continue industrialization, literacy programs and modernization (Turn Two of 15). We propose an alliance to Peru, warning them from Argentina. We also propose a protectorate to Romania (mod required for Peru and Romania). We ask the UK and Japan to stop bickering. We ensure the independence of Montenegro and Serbia. We execute Vladimir Ulyanov and give Lev Trotsky time to confess his crime. We also send agents in Siberia to kill Joseph Stalin. Czar Mikhail invites world leaders to discuss the situation of the world.
    • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Romania declines.
    • Peru and Russia wouldn't enter an alliance. Kinda useless for both sides. Nobody really wants European and South American politics intertwined.
  • Austria-Hungary: We send a proclamation to Belgrade, warning Serbia on its actions. We begin construction of ammunition, cannons and ships. The navy is improved and the army begins modernisation. Franz Joseph asks the Czar to visit Vienna to discuss the Balkan Crisis. The Vienna to Budapest railway begins construction. We continue influencing the Balkans.
  • Serbia Dip: Get lost, we are not going to cower away at your bullying.
  • France: We further expand our military, which now includes 700,000 active duty soldiers. Economy improves.
Spain increases its Army and Technology. We begin influencing Portugal (Turn Two of Ten), and consider invading Portugal should a coup or civil war occur during the growing dissent in Portugal.

1911.0[]

In Portugal, a revolution occurs by the Republican Party, overthrowing the King. Mexico makes no further gains in Guatemala this year, as the front stagnates. A major earthquake of 7.9 magnitude hits Almaty, Russia.  The Ottoman Empire successfully suppresses the Albanian rebellion, but shows its first signs of a poor military and growing ethnic tensions.

  • Romania: Seeing how Bulgaria was expanding its military, King Carol I sent orders to do the same in Romania, fearing the growing military of Bulgaria as a threat to Romanian influence in the Balkans. He also invest money in development of new technologies (MIL/TECH). The King then send a letter to Germany, offering the Kaiser an alliance, as both monarchs are part of the same house, and that this alliance could help Germany and their allies to counter the Russian and Ottoman influence in the region.
  • I may not be a mod, but I know my fair share on Romania. Some reasons an alliance with Germany would never happen: For one, the people in Romania were orientated to Russia and especially France, spoke French as a second language and had French culture. For the second, King Carol I was very anti-Germany and was never with Germany in a friendship. The Hohenzollern of Germany and Romania distrusted and hated each other. For the third, by supporting Germany, you support Austria-Hungary, which effectively suppresses Romanians. An alliance with Germany is VERY implausible without you getting any rebellion by nationalists who see you as a traitor. For the fourth, most of your assets are in Russia, which would immediately be frozen, meaning a depression and poverty. Here's my statement and like Russia cannot switch to Germany from France and Britain, Romania can't as well. ~AM
    • I uphold this. -Vatonica
    • The only argument I have against this is that King Carol I was in favor of joining the Central Powers (but died in 1914 before he could), but if you say so. Can I at least know why the MIL/TECH part was refused? -Zamarak500
  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continues construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Switzerland: We decide to remain neutral if an oncoming war happens, but we recruit more men for the army and we reach up to 20,000 men and we improve our economy. We begin to construct defensive and military structures in our borders and in all of our cities that are near France, Germany and Italy. We continue to build railroads and roads linking suburbs and cities.
  • Belgium: We demand that Luxembourg join me or we will declare war (mod response)
  • French Diplomacy: in order to defend the innocent nation of Luxembourg, we use 200,000 men, as well as naval support to attack Belgium.
    • Belgium:We don't want to attack it with force we just want to unite them with the province of Luxembourg so they can gain power  **I don't even ...
    • I think that you are a little bit to hard to just ban me
  • Brazil: Economy, infrastructure and military improve. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 24.2 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 200,000 soldiers, 20,000 cavalries and 2000 number of artillery. Fewer churches, harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops and mining plants are built. Roads and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. Requests Chile, Colombia and Belgium for alliance and trade agreements. Accepts Non-Aggression Pact with Argentina for five years. Continues mobilization. Due to Argentine soldiers attacking Paraguay via border disputes, Brazil declares war on Paraguay and begins invading Paraguay. Declines Germany's request to join the Central Powers.
  • Whaa?
  • Chinese Federation: '''The country enters the first year of independence from the Qing oppressors. We are thankful for the U.S for lending us scientists to advance our stagnating field of technology, and we offer the British Empire an extension of their lease of Hong Kong to 120 years in exchange for assistance in improving our navy and investments into our economy. Seeing the massive economic growth embarked upon during the first year of the Federation. Further devolvement of the government into provinces continue. A master plan for the city of Shanghai is developed, with the intention of it becoming a major financial, commercial and industrial center in the Chinese coast. Settlements are consolidated into apartment buildings for the common man, while the suburbs surrounding Shanghai remain as they are. An industrial zone begins construction near the Yangtze River, and the port of Shanghai is expanded to handle increased international trade. In the south, Guangdong province sees the most development in the region, with it being near British Hong Kong and Portuguese Macau, while at the same time containing a large amount of people. The provincial capital of Guangzhou becomes a hub for scholars and students, after the establishment of the University of Guangdong in the city. China aims to establish Guangdong as a 'city of the future' by trying to get scientists to work there. The railways connecting Beijing to Harbin, and Beijing to Shanghai are almost complete. The military increases to 550,000 thousand men, with weapons factories built in the North and Southeast. (Eco,Mil)

Railroads also continue to get improved, and we begin to build roads for cars across the country. We continue to secretly fund anti-imperialist Mexicans and encourage them to revolt in the near future. We also continue to slowly build up our armies and navies, and we offer the Chinese an alliance and multiple trade agreements.
  • German Dip: We would like you to have a trade pact with us.
  • Serbia: We continue the further training of officers and wish to purchase 130,000 rifles from anyone and we will repay over the next seven years. We supply arms to Bosnian insurrectionists and construct more industry in Belgrade.
  • Germany: We accept the existence of the Chinese Federation. We offer them a trade pact. We would like to offer Brazil and Mexico an alliance. We aid Austria-Hungary in there influencing of the Balkans and we aid Ottoman Empire in there control of Albania. We would like to have talks with the Russian Empire and Poland in the Warsaw Conference. We build our army and military presence on the French-German border and the North Sea. (Mil/tech)
    • Russian Dip: What is this conference about? Czar Mikhail doesn't want to waste time on Austro-Hungarian aggression in the Balkans. We wish the Balkans are left alone, to choose who they want. Or if it is about Poland, you will need consent from them.
    • Russian Empire: After a council meeting, we recognize the Chinese Federation, however, we make the Qing family a noble house in Russia. We are shocked by the tragedy and evacuate and try to rebuild the region. We warn Austria to be careful what they do in the Balkans, as we do not wish war, but Serbia is our ally. We invite Sweden to talk about the Aland Islands and try to reach a deal. We are open to any propositions. We continue industrializing and modernizing, as well as implementing our reforms (Turn Three of 15).
    • Austria-Hungary: We send a trade request to Germany and thank them for aiding us. The army is sent to Bosnia to deal with the protesters. We continue our modernisation and have succeeded in most parts. We send another threat to Serbia and place an embargo on them. We continue our influence in the Balkans. We would like Princess Sophie to be betrothed to Prince Augustin of Mexico. Franz Joseph would like to meet the Czar in Vienna. We send aid to Brazil and support them in their rivalry with Argentina. We ask the US if they would like to buy oil from us With goal of improving relationships with Russia we ask them if they would like to buy oil from us. We begin to improve our army by buying new gear and weaponry. Arab revolts happen in Jordan but are quickly put down with brute force.
    • Russian Dip: We must refuse the oh so tempting proposal, due to our abundance in oil. We can only improve relations if you shut down the relations with Germany and Austria-Hungary.
  • France: We Further expand our military, which now includes 800,000 active duty soldiers' as well as 1.2 million in reserve. Economy improves, mostly in the industrial sector. We aid Russian modernization, mostly by supplying funds and blueprints, but also by sending several engineering teams over.

As such, the provincial capital of Harbin expands at a rapid rate, the area around it being turned into a city remarkably fast. In Manchuria, dozens of mines and refineries, eager to harvest the resources located there are built. Ethnically Chinese people are encouraged to move to Xinjiang, Tibet, and Mongolia, as they are given incentives by the government and free transportation if they do so. Farms in the Central provinces and portions of Mongolia expand, supported by the government providing fertilizer and increasing subsidies to farmers, with the aim of making China a self-sufficient state. Industry continues to improve in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong. The military, already at 600,000 men, continues to expand due to conscription and voluntary service. Deciding the time is right and to counter the Brazilian expansion, we declare war on Chile.
    • France, annoyed by the attack on Chile, sends economic aid and weapon to Chile.
    • Again, not a mod, but I wanna point out that it is impossible for Argentina to cross the Andes. For one, there are no planes to help 'em. For second, there is no pass which would sustain the Argentinian invasion. Third, there is a reason Argentina lost its last invasion of Chile. Argentina could do it by sea, but any landing would be crushed. So Argentina is in no position to invade Chile, unless it wants yet another failed campaign. ~AM
    • So we can't declare war because we'll lose? Riiight. I can't even try to fail. Yeah, I think I can try to beat them at least.
    • I'll let Argentina go for this. I think it's plausible for Argentina to try to expand in order to match Brazil. I also like the idea of increased tensions in South America, especially with their ties to the two alliances. -Vatonica

    • Peru agrees to trade with Russia via Vladivostok.
We continue influencing Portugal (Turn Three of Ten), and with the recent revolution there, we mobilize troops to the border to prevent action against us.

We also begin to heavily fund Ayala's military, and we provide him with military supplies. We begin to improve our navy to be superior to the Chileans in the event of another naval conflict with them. We also begin researching aircraft as a way to get past the Andes.
    • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Chile declines, in search of payments for the war.
    • Argentine Diplomacy: We offer them minor sums of money.
    • Chilean Diplomacy: We refuse, demanding one million USD for invading us and sinking our navy. We also demand that Argentina assists us in rebuilding our navy.
  • Austria-Hungary: We continue influencing the Balkans. We send troops to the Serbian Border. We declare any man, woman or child who does not have an German or Austro-Hungarian identification papers can be taken into custody by these troops. We threaten Serbia once more and will take action against them if they continue to aid Bosnian Rebels. We improve the military and navy.
  • Serbia: We are not afraid of the threatening of a dead power and continue supplying Bosnian rebels. We continue the training of an officer corps in Belgrade and our new munitions are dispersed among our men. We keep working on railway lines from Central Serbia to the potential front line.
    • French Diplomacy: We ask to station 50,000 troops in Serbia to help defend against Austrian aggression.

Javier Ayala declares himself President of the Republic of Mexico without an election, declaring that elections will be held once order is reinstalled. As pro-Imperialist forces in Mexico continue to fight despite the death of the Empress, Ayala's forces begin to search every city and execute suspected Imperial supporters.

Yeah no. You can't control my nation. File:Prinsenvlag.svg Hail Sean! (Get a free potato here) 20:07, November 29, 2015 (UTC)

Also the prince can't really escape to Russia himself, he's like two years old.

You can't get mad about something multiple turns after it happens because it's against what you want.

We can do this, actually.~Tao64 Also, I did let Ayala win as you wanted, despite the fact that the war should've dragged on for years. #I CAN protest something that happened a few turns ago actually. Oh wait, is this TGWR? Nvm then, I can't, I forgot you're a godmod. #Tao, how can you do this? Mexico is a player nation. That means the player controls it. Not the mods. But again, godmodding is fun right? {| class="diff diff-contentalign-left" style="border:none;width:1003px;border-spacing:4px;table-layout:fixed;font-size:14px;line-height:22px;" | class="diff-addedline" style="font-size:smaller;padding:0px;"|

With British ships approaching Agadir, a Berber rebel fires at the oncoming british ships. Thinking it was the Germans, the British fire at the German ships, downing the SMS Seeadler. This has caused a large crisis, with Germany considering war.

A united Bosnian revolution against Austria-Hungary occurs after Serbian funding and encouragement. Serbia has also mobilized forces to the border with Austria-Hungary.

Albania declares independence from the Ottoman Empire.

Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continues construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.

'Chinese Federation:'  Oil, rubber, iron, and other valuable resources are discovered en masse in Manchuria, prompting its population to increase to nearly five million people in light of the government. As such, the provincial capital of Harbin expands at a rapid rate, the area around it being turned into a city remarkably fast. In Manchuria, dozens of mines and refineries, eager to harvest the resources located there are built. Ethnically Chinese people are encouraged to move to Xinjiang, Tibet and Mongolia, as they are given incentives by the government and free transportation if they do so. With help from the American and British scientists, we manufacture our first home-made rifles and cannons. China reaches out to Bhutan, sending envoys to the kingdom who bring pro-Chinese propaganda with them (Turn One of Six of influencing.) (Mil/Eco)

Serbia:We supply more arms and send in 150 men claiming to be Bosnian rebels but are really Serbian troops. We continue training our officer corp and reserves are given more training and a railway is built through the center of the country from our northern border to our southern border going through the major cities. Mil/ Eco turn

Austria-Hungary: We mobilize against Serbia. The Army is split into two, the First Division goes to crush the revolution and then go to the border while the Second Division will march directly to the Border. We ask Germany for assistance. We give Serbia an ultimatum, Stop aiding the Rebels or war will be declared. The Army is well organised and prepared if Serbia chooses the other choice. We warn Russia not to get involved.

Britain warns Austria-Hungary that Britain backs Serbia, and that if they choose war, Britain has the ability to project its power over the globe.

France also warms Austria-Hungry that if war is declared, it will not go well them, in any conceivable way.

Serbia Dip: We are not afraid and we will not stop aiding freedom fighters against an illegal occupation by an aggressive and unstable power. We order a general mobilization but order our troops not to go near the border so as to avoid accidentally creating a war.

France: We Further expand our military, which now includes one million active duty soldiers' as well as 1.5 million in reserve. We station 750,000 troops on the German border, ready to advance at a moments notice, and an additional 500,000 at the Italian border. Additionally we ask to send 150,000 more troops to Serbia to help them defend themselves against Austria's unnecessary aggression. In order to fight in a war if necessary, conscription is introduced, and we expect one million fresh troops within the year. Economy improves, mostly in the industrial sector. We aid Russian modernization, mostly by supplying funds and blueprints, but also by sending several engineering teams over. We send more aid to Chile, including 3500 French advisors and troops. We demand that Germany remove their troops and ships from Agadir.

Bring your troop counts down, France. It's not wartime yet, and without conscription, I'd see France with about 500,000 troops

Serbian Dip: We refuse the generous offer as they would be better used in the west.

Sweden: We continue to grow the economy and gain more recruited troops in military. This time our troops normally recruits all day to reach to 500,000 only. As we set our targets, we'll join Central Powers, as stated, and reject to join Entente, as suggested by Russian Empire. In the briefing room, Prime Minister of Sweden has stated that Germany shouldn't sanction us as he advised them that we're staying in the Central Powers. This deal means that we're in no pressure with the Russian Empire. Many ports and buildings have been built and we plan to build some defensive fortifications in our country.

Spain: We improve our economy and technology. As tensions rise between the Triple Alliance and Triple Entente, we could go either way in the war. We feel more politically aligned with the Entente, and we believe the Entente is stronger, but we feel like there is more land to be gained by fighting against the Triple Entente. Therefore, we ask both sides to make Spain an offer of possible gains Spain could get by joining their alliance. Whichever side makes a better offer will likely see us join their side, though we still might stay neutral.

Brazil: Economy, infrastructure and military improve. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 24.6 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 400,000 soldiers, 40,000 cavalries and 4000 number of artillery. Fewer churches, harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops and mining plants are built. Roads and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. Continues reaching on Refrigeration technology, which refrigerators becomes useful in buildings. Traditional Guaranization of Paraguay continues, as all road signs in the state of Paraguay changes to Guarani/Spanish. Continues aiding Chile.

Mexico: Elections are held and Ayala wins the elections. The Invasion of El Salvador continues (make algo, please). Imperialists are offered amnesty (also seriously, first there's a lot of republicans and now there's a lot of imperialists all of a sudden? Like hell there are), although there aren't a lot of imperialists.

Well, I said there were a lot of revolutionaries, but you just made them instantly and suddenly in charge, when a civil war was occurring. They would be fighting a war, and there would be troops on both sides.

Argentina: We continue to support pro-US forces in Mexico, to boost relations with the USA. We declare our support for Germany in the Agadir Crisis. We also declare our support for Austria-Hungary in the Bosnian Crisis. In the light of increasing global tensions, we declare full mobilisation of our Armed Forces. We open fire on Uruguayan forces in a show of strength, looking to take them over.

1913.5[]

The Bosnian rebels take control of Tuzla, the first major city that the rebels take control of. Their power has been increasing as a result of the funding from Serbia. With no German reaction following the downing of a German ship, Britain considers downing more German ships. Greece declares war on the Ottoman Empire, along with the newly independent Albania which is fighting for freedom from the Ottomans.

  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continues construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.

We ask the US if they would like to buy oil from us With goal of improving relationships with Russia we ask them if they would like to buy oil from us. We begin to improve our army by buying new gear and weaponry. Arab revolts happen in Jordan but are quickly put down with brute force. We begin to work on defense in Libya with fear of war breaking out. We begin a sea invasion into Greece with 70,000 troops. We begin a military invasion of Serbia with 60,000 troops, and militarize our Balkan border.
      • UK Dip: We warn you to back off.
    • Korea: Korea, while still nationalist and anti-imperialist, believes that the future growth of Korea is directly linked with Japan's future. The Korean economy is reconstructed to follow the Japanese model, with family-owned business conglomerates called chaebols being a major source of economic growth. Korea strips the Japanese of extraterritorial rights. More light industrial labor-intensive factories are built in Ulsan and the surrounding region. The government invests heavily in human capital. Korea exports raw materials and excess agricultural produce to Japan while using most of the profit for the industrialisation effort. The seat of government is moved to Ulsan, a port city that is nearer to Japan while farther from China. We condemn the invasion of the Balkans by the Ottoman Empire.
    • Serbia: We having called up all reserves send 180,000 Serbian troops and 15,000 French troops to engage and destroy the Ottoman forces attacking. We ask Montenegro and Bulgaria to join the war (MOD Response). We call upon our allies in the Entente to help support us in this war.
    • Brazil: Economy, infrastructure and military improve. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 24.7 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 500,000 soldiers, 50,000 cavalries and 5000 number of artillery. Fewer churches, harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. Roads and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. Continues reaching on Refrigeration technology, which refrigerators becomes useful in buildings. Relations with Allies are improved and Brazilian embassies are built or upgraded in capital cities of United States, United Kingdom, France and Belgium. Traditional Guaranization of Paraguay continues, as all of educational buildings now has Guarani language lessons. As Argentina's military mobilizes, Brazil declares full mobilization of the armed forces.
    • Switzerland: We continue to construct defensive bunkers and structures along our border with France, Germany, Italy and Austria. Opinions are divided among the citizens about which side the nation will choose if an inevitable war happens. Citizens think that the country must join the Entente, The Triple Alliance or remain neutral. We remain under pressure from citizens' opinions about choosing a side, but our military advisers suggest that we remain neutral. We recruit more men to the military and research technology that will benefit us if an oncoming war will happen. (mil/tech)
      • UK Dip: We must ask you remain neutral.
    • Chinese Federation:  Oil, rubber, iron, and other valuable resources are discovered en masse in Manchuria, prompting its population to increase to nearly five million people in light of the government. Mexico: With a tremendous amount of imperialists suddenly appearing, when before there were a lot of republicans, Mexico faces civil war again, because Vat wanted to control my nation apparently people want to follow a three-year old boy who is currently in Russia. Good job, Mexico. Good job.

Argentina: We send supplies to Austria-Hungary to help them defeat their rebellions. We inform Brazil that they do not need to mobilise as we will continue to respect our Non-Aggression Pact with them. We continue to support pro-US forces in Mexico to boost relations with the USA. We launch an invasion of Uruguay to counter the Brazilian gains in Paraguay. Meanwhile, we support diplomacy in the Agadir Crisis, but warn we will support Germany if the Brits down more ships. (Mil/Eco turn)

Germany: We demand that Britain stops attacking my ships. In response for destroying my ships I decide to sail 20 ships into Portsmouth in a raid, sinking every single ship in the harbour. This is called the Portsmouth Attack. We warn Britain that if that happens again other ports will be raided. We also send 50 ships to defeat the British in Adgir. We sink every ship in that port, turning it into more of a battle. We build our navy. We build our military presence on the French-German border and our naval in the North Sea. We aid the Ottoman Empire invasion of Greece and Albainia sending 5,000 troops to quell the rebellion. We would like to have a non aggressive pact with Poland. We would like a trade pact with America. We get ready to war.

Austria-Hungary: The armies battle the revolutionaries. We manage to capture most of Tulaza back but due to a bad decision on leaving the artillery behind we lose the city. We plan to recapture it next year. We support Germany and ask them for aid. We thank Argentina for its support. We support the Ottoman Invasion and troops await on the border to assist the Ottomans. Hundreds Bosnian men are sent to prison for being "Rebels." Franz Ferdinand protests against this. We build up the navy. The Entente is warned not to get involved with our endeavours. We welcome Spain into the Alliance and hope Germany will accept them as well.

Spain: '''''We have not joined your alliance. We asked both alliances to make us an offer to try to lure us to our side.

Sweden: '' We continue to build defensive fortifications and expand economy. We recruit more Swedish troops in our army to have more of them totally in our military. Military sees up to expand for much room to have more supplies and army guns. We're little bit concerned about the situation in Germany, while UK firing some German ships will trigger a war in Europe. So some of our defensive fortification needs to be set and also Swedish troops.

  • France: We Further expand our military, which now includes one million active duty soldiers' as well as 1.5 million in reserve. We demand that Germany remove their troops and ships from Agadir. we invade Germany using 750,000 troops, as well as the BEF.
  • Netherlands: In response to the many wars being declared in recent times, the military and navy continue expanding, with plans being drafted for a naval war against Britain and an invasion of Belgium should the plans be necessary. At the moment, the countries in the war are France, Britain, Russia, Serbia, Greece, Spain and Albania for the Allies, and Germany, Ottoman Empire, and Austria-Hungary. If anybody who I listed wasn't in the war or had war declared on them please say so below. Italy (player inactive) declares neutrality, at least for the time beingPortugal and Japan, Britain's allies, declare war on Germany. Bulgaria, hoping to counteract Serbian and Greek growth, joins with the Central Powers.
  • I AM NOT AN ALLY OF BRITAIN ANYMORE. And I declared neutrality. Kaori, The New Tokyo Native (talk) 23:20, December 1, 2015 (UTC)
  • I contest this, Vat. Turns earlier Bulgaria broke relations with Germany and is an ally of Russia and Britain. ~AM
  • Both are right and can choose for themselves. Germany holds off a Russian invasion with major casualties on both sides. German invasion of France fails miserably. Germany cannot successfully stop British and French ships from bringing in British forces. Balkan algo to come soon.
  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continues construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation. Monarch Vajiravudh also declares neutrality in the First World War.

  • Nejd: As we see WWI starting, we work on our army and military technology. We also go to the Ottoman Empire and ask for an alliance. Our leader Khalid Al-Hissan wants to stay out of war until necessary. We begin to see an uprising of Arab nationalism, so we begin to put an end to it by propaganda.
    • Ottoman Empire Dip: We decline and kill the messengers knowing that Nejd is pro Arab Nationalism and anti Ottoman. *Bulgaria: Since we joined with the Central Powers we begin mobilizing our troops to fight in combat. We send our 10,000 troops against Serbia and we send thousand man forces to Greece and Albania.
    • You have an alliance with Russia and Britain. ~AM

  • Sweden: As we see WWI starting out, we continue to recruit dozens of Swedish troops and build many defensive fortifications in our country for any other threats that war can break out in Sweden. Prime Minister thinks they have a very much great plan to progress, as he thinks Scandinavian Union could be great option for the future. As it states, the plan of Scandinavian Union isn't going to be planned while WWI breaks out. Germany are still livid with us as they still sanctioning us, which this means we will join Entente as Russian Empire said Sweden shall join Entente and demilitarise the islands, on course of it we demilitarise the islands.
  • France: We Further expand our military, which now includes one million active duty soldiers' as well as 1.5 million in reserve. Algo Report: Germany loses some land to Russia, and a lot more land to France. I suggest that Germany surrender or be defeated in the next couple of turns. Sorry about the algos favoring the Allies, but TBH, Germany would've needed some more countries on its side for it to have a chance. Especially because this war has not developed trench warfare, so it is much quicker. Also, sorry to Bulgaria and Japan for assuming their WWI alliances. I'll check next time. Why no news about the Ottomans and Austria-Hungary? Nevermind, just checked the talk page Germany resorts to guerrilla warfare to fight the French and British. Spain: We continue our invasion of Cameroon, and also send our navy to patrol the Strait of Gibraltar and ensure that no Central Powers ships pass. We ask all countries to meet in Barcelona and negotiate a peace treaty. OTTOMA Dip: NEVER Switzerland: We hold a national referendum to decide the Country's status according to the current war. Most Swiss people with German descent voted for Switzerland to join the War in the Central Alliance's side, while most Swiss people with French descent voted Switzerland to join the Entente's side. The rest voted Switzerland to remain Neutral. The referendum ended on a narrow victory for the people whom demanded Switzerland to be Neutral. Riots are sparked throughout the country demanding the country to join the entente or the Central Alliance. We are currently working to suppress the further riots and the current racial segregation in the Country between those who support the Etente and those whom support the Central Alliance. A referendum will be held in the following months when the riots are stopped. We still recruit more men and continue in research even though we remain under pressure from the current chaos. The population of Brazil now stands at 25 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 800,000 soldiers, 80,000 cavalries and 8,000 number of artillery. Fewer churches, harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. Roads, railways and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. Brought the Flight technology from USA, UK and France to learn about how to build WWI-era fighters and bombers, and how to use in war. Relations with Allies are improved. Traditional Guaranization of Paraguay finishes and Paraguay is now a Guarani speaking state of Brazil. Brazil continues its full mobilization of the armed forces. Brazil maintain its neutrality in World War I. The armed forces continues placing forces to Argentine border. The glorious Brazilian nation plans to expend to include all of South America, currently requests Peru in whatever to join Brazil or being invaded and annexed by Brazil.
    • And how exactly do you plan to invade Peru? Through the Amazonas? Not happening. ~AM
  • Belgium: We want to be with peace talk and I send 100,000 troops to the German border and we rename Flemish Belgian Army of Peace to Flemish Volunteer Army and I give more power to Flanders.
  • Empire of Japan: Emperor Meiji enacts the Koryo Exclusion Act in the Sino-Koryo Border and deems all Manchus an enemy of the state and subject to death if they ever cross over in Koryo or any Japanese-held territories. Other Chinese ethnicities (excluding Manchurians), Rus peoples, and Ainu peoples are granted full citizenship rights alongside the Japanese, Korean, and Han Chinese and Formosan citizens of Japan. The CSC (Chinese Safety Commission) is established to protect Chinese nationals and expatriots from discrimination and the Manchurian disease. All Manchurians currently in Koryo are to wear a gold dragon badge with the Chinese Characters for "Manchu" on it to separate the Manchus from other races. We request the Chinese Federation to allow us to connect the Trans-Koryo Railway Lines 1 and 2 into China, going from Pyongyang to Beijing and Shanghai.
  • Andorra: A democratic coup happened, overthrowing the king, making the populares happy. The Republic is proclaimed! The first steps that the parliament will approve are about the economy and the budget. We ask an alliance with Spain (isn´t for entering WWI - it's just a protection alliance (economic, financial and military).
    • Not happening ~AM
  • Serbia: We keep fighting against the Austro-Hungarian forces and offer a ceasefire with the Ottomans.
  • France: We expand our military further, which now includes one million active duty soldiers as well as 1.5 million in reserve. We station 750,000 troops on the German border, ready to advance at a moment's notice, and an additional 500,000 on the Italian border. Additionally, we ask to send 150,000 more troops to Serbia to help them defend themselves against Austria's unnecessary aggression. We invade Germany using 750,000 troops, as well as the BEF.
  • Argentina: We withdraw all aid from Germany, seeing that they have lost the war. We call for Germany to begin peace talks and demand a ceasefire. We launch a Blitzkrieg invasion of Uruguay, hoping to take over the country before Brazil can intervene. We continue this with a blockade of all Uruguayan ports. A mini-cold war has developed between the Argentine alliance and Brazil.
    • Do this one more time and you'll be banned for a week Vinnyus style.

1915.5[]

Two years after the war started, Germany is completely captured and occupied by France, Britain and Russia. The fun part, post-war, starts now. Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire see minor losses in the Balkans but Austria-Hungary should expect larger losses to Russia should the war continue. Colombia, fearing Brazilian dominance over the continent, joins Venezuela, Argentina and Bolivia by finally agreeing to join that alliance.

  • Empire of Japan: As the Koryo Exclusion Act is enacted, another act, the Manchu Act of 1915 is enacted. This act requires all ethnic Manchus within Japanese borders to be moved into segregated neighborhoods. Railway construction continues. 20,000 soldiers are mobilized and begin construction of the segregated neighborhoods. More anti-Manchu laws are put into place to restrict the movement of Manchus in and out of the country. Koryo is further industralized and modernized. Roads are paved for wagons to move more easily. 20,000 Koreans, Japanese, ethnic Russian, and Han Chinese are encouraged to move into the former Manchu houses as the Manchus are relocated.
We begin to improve our army by buying new gear and weaponry. Arab revolts happen in Jordan, Palestine and Iraq but are put down with brute force but losing Sunni parts of Iraq having them rename themselves "Iraq". We begin to work on defense in Libya with fear of war breaking out. We begin a sea invasion into Greece with 70,000 troops. We begin a military invasion of Serbia with 60,000 troops, and militarize our Balkan border and Egypt, and Russia putting our army into stand by. We begin to lose a lot of land because of our Arab irregular troops to Nejd sending 20,000 Turkish troops to fight off Nejd. We begin to sink any allied ship in the Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea. We begin to dig more trenches across the Balkan borders. Some generals and the Caliph begin to secretly work to map out the Middle East knowing that empire will fall. We begin to pull Turkish troops out the Middle East back to Turkish part of the Empire. We begin see massive defections of Arab irregulars troops to Nejd, We begin to execute defectors but it doesn't stop them. Due to this, we begin to lose battles and control of Southern Arabia to Nejd. We begin to lose land in Jordan and Palestine to Riyad. We begin to put an end to the Ottoman Empire after a coup happens by a few military generals with a mapping out of the Middle East, (via Skype Nejid and Riyad said yes) and sell the all-white state to Belgium. (via chat). Wereplace our flag with this . We ask for peace with the allies and an end of WWI, We officially leave WWI and disband ourselves.
  • Nejd: Our leader Khalid Al-Hissan has spread propaganda against nationalism, aiming especially for the youth. We work on our economy and military.
  • Sweden: We continue to expand military and economy. With Germany occupied, we continue to concentrate and recruit more troops for high amount. The ships being built as well as tanks and armoured vehicles. Scandinavian Union will be discussed about it in the conference to unite with Norway and Sweden for great union. However the discussions, might begin in 1918, which it might be a good schedule for three years to come in. Some guns, machine guns and even grenades developed throughout the day in the factory. Stockholm begins to probably rise its population.
    • Machine guns and grenades were only invented for a trench war, which didn't happen in atl yet. So not happening.~AM
    • When do machine guns become available - in what year? Great showing. B23 (talk) 21:38, December 4, 2015 (UTC)
    • Only if another war develops trench warfare. ~AM
  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continues construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Korea: Korea's economy is reconstructed to follow the highly successful Japanese model, with mostly family-owned (some are state-owned) large industrial conglomerates called chaebols being a major source of growth. More industrial labor-intensive factories are built in Ulsan and the surrounding metropolitan region. The government invests heavily in human capital. Korea exports raw materials and excess agricultural produce to Japan while using most of the profit for the industrialisation effort. We condemn the invasion of the Balkans by the Ottoman Empire but do not participate due to the conflicts taking place in the other end of Eurasia.
  • Russia: With Berlin under control, we set up a temporary occupation force, with a part of the army previously used to take Berlin now marching towards Austria-Hungary, to come down upon Budapest from the north as well as the east.
We occupy Germany using 750,000 troops, as well as the BEF.
  • I tried to make a map (map will be updated every five turns) I am mapmaker muhahahahah. Bozistanball
  • Brazil: (Undo Peru turn) Economy, infrastructure and military improve. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 25.1 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 900,000 soldiers, 90,000 cavalries and 9,000 number of artillery. Requests the remaining states of Peru and Ecuador for alliance. Brazil continues its full mobilization of the armed forces. Brazil maintain its neutrality in World War I. The armed forces continue placing forces on Argentine border. With no response from Uruguay, Brazil declared war on Uruguay and simply invaded.
    • Peru accepts. (mod)
    • Ecuador declines. (mod)
  • Andorra: We continue to improve economy and military. We ask Spain for a protection alliance.
  • Italy (made a mess up with Germany *awkward face* so I'm joining here. Feel Italian power coming.): We request to join the Allies, we then, therefore, begin an invasion of Austria-Hungary, invading the country from the East, hoping to capture Vienna next turn. We would like aid from Russia. We recruit 700,000 troops to fight the Austro-Hungarians. We build our military. All of our resources go to the war effort.
    • Britain accepts
  • Serbia: We propose to all European parts of the former Ottoman empire and the Austro-Hungarian nations of Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia that we all unify and create the nation of Yugoslavia. We continue to fight our enemies.
    • You have no border with European Ottoman Empire. ~AM
  • Argentina: We cut all ties with the Central Powers until they surrender, seeing they have lost the war. We welcome Colombia into our alliance and suggest they co-operate with their Venezualan neighbours. We abolish the plans to invade the Falklands, seeing that the UK won't be distracted by world war much longer. We continue to place forces on the Brazilian border as the South American Cold War continues. We mobilise near Uruguay, following the Brazilian invasion of Uruguay (NOW can I invade them???)

1916.0[]

Italy makes gains in Austria, while Russia makes larger gains in Galicia. Germany is defeated. Please begin negotiating their future. Treaty of Versailles (The Global War Resurrected Map Game) Uruguay, following years of debate over which side to join, agrees to the Brazilian alliance offer. Argentina may now invade Uruguay if they would like, but Colombia will stay neutral if Argentina is the aggressor.

  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Switzerland: We continue to accept refugees and asylum seekers from Germany, Italy and Austria-Hungary. We send Swiss delegates of the International Committee of the Red Cross to Italian and Austrian POW Camps to inspect that they're meeting agreed international conditions for the POWS of both sides. We mobilise troops near the Italian and Austrian border just to ensure that no conflict will ensue and to accept refugees and asylum seekers. We continue to boost our economy, build new infrastructure and research technology. (Eco/Tech)
  • Korea: Korea's economy continues to experience rapid growth, with family-owned industrial conglomerates called chaebols (similar to the Japanese zaibatsu) growing rapidly as well. The rapid growth of the industrial sector and the commodity trade volume continues to be the primary stimulus to economic development. Korea continues to rely largely on labour-intensive manufactured exports (mostly to Japan) to fuel the growth of its economy, with finished products such as textiles, ships, automobiles, and steel being some of its most important exports. Modern technologies (such as factory automation) are introduced in newly built facilities at a rapid pace in order to boost productivity and competition. Farm mechanisation is promoted. The production of commodities increases and profit from exports are used for further industrial expansion. Thousands of labourers flock to growing urban centres located primarily in the Han River and coastal regions in the Southeast. In order to control inflation, a conservative monetary policy and tight fiscal measures are adopted. Infrastructure, both urban and rural is improved. Agricultural output per capita and healthcare is improved, lowering mortality rates dramatically. The military sees barely any improvement due to heavy emphasis on the modernisation and industrialisation attempt. Korea urges Japan to invade China before it industrialises and poses danger to Japanese regional hegemony and the East Asian balance of power. Korea suggests using a staged event as the reason for invasion.
  • Chinese Federation: A new political party, the 'United Freedom Alliance', begins making gains in the provincial and federal elections. They now lead in 90% of the provinces and are now the majority in the parliamental elections. They promote the idea that the Manchus, the ethnic group of Manchuria who founded the Qing Dynasty, had stifled China's development and advancement for centuries. Anti-Manchu protests light up in Beijing and Harbin. A particularly bloody incident in Heilongjang, where 500 Manchus were brutally massacred while the authorities stood by and cheered them on. Anti-Manchu sentiment also enters the government, and the 'Manchu resettlement plan' is drafted to forcefully remove Manchus from their homes and subject them to labor camps for the benefit of the state. Their properties shall be taken over by the government and redistributed to Chinese families. We would like to co-operate with the Empire of Japan in cleansing Asia of the Manchu disease, and send a diplomatic envoy to Tokyo to try to warm up our significantly cold relations.  Oil, rubber, iron, and other valuable resources are discovered en masse in Manchuria, prompting its population to increase to nearly five million people in light of the government. Farms in the Central provinces and portions of Mongolia expand, supported by the government providing fertilizer and increasing subsidies to farmers, with the aim of making China a self-sufficient state. Industry continues to improve in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong. The military, already at 1.5 million men, continues to expand due to conscription and voluntary service. With help from the American and British scientists, we manufacture our first homemade rifles and cannons. 300,000 men are stationed in Manchuria and along Beijing. China reaches out to Bhutan, sending envoys to the kingdom who bring pro-Chinese propaganda with them. China declares neutrality in the war, but positions a thousand troops near the German and Austro-Hungarian concessions inside our territory. (Turn Five of Six of influencing.) (Mil/Eco)
    • Korean Diplomacy: Korea condemns the treatment of Manchus and other Tunguisic peoples. Korea tries to help the issue gain international notice. Korea threatens Japan that Korea will put sanctions on raw materials if it continues the harsh treatment of Manchus.
    • Turkey Dip: Condemns the treatment of Manchus and other Tunguisic peoples. and tries to help the issue gain international notice. We secretly begin to work on an independent Xinjiang looking for the right people and sending spies to rally the people. **Dutch Dip: After hearing of the behavior of China from Turkey, we also condemn the treatment of Manchus and other Tunguistic peoples, and try to help the issue gain international notice. Additionally, we begin moving portions of the navy into the Dutch East Indies, officially to prevent expansion of East Asian influence into our territories, but really to pressure China to stop its behavior. **Japanese Dip: Emperor Meiji apologizes for not warning the Chinese Federation about the invasion of Manchuria. The Imperial Japanese Armed Forces deemed it necessary to capture the cities of Harbin and Qiqihar before carrying on with the plans.
  • The Netherlands: Seeing the end of the Not-so-Great War, we begin to slow, though not completely stop, recruitment for the army and navy. We also begin to distance ourselves from the Central Powers diplomatically, becoming truly politically neutral, but the loss of German economic support proves ruinous to the Dutch economy. The idea that the Entente was directly responsible for this (which is partially true) gains popularity, creating strongly anti-Entente sentiments among the people, but the government knows that they can do little to change the outcome of the war, with the fighting nearly over. Efforts are made to improve the economy in spite of these developments, including the development of more modern technologies to create more and better jobs. (Eco/tech)
  • Empire of Japan: An explosion in a Taihoku railway killed 13 people and injures 20 more. When authorities arrived, witness said two soldiers in Qing Dynasty era uniforms fled the scene when the explosions occurred. Emperor Meiji, enraged by this explosion, invades Machurian through Koryo, sending 20,000 soldiers to occupy the cities of Harbin and Qiqihar. Further modernization occurs in other cities. With the nation at war, conscription is once again enacted and all able-bodied men, ages 18-50, must serve at least three years in any branch of the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces; while all able bodied women, must serve at least one year in intelligence and homeworld security.
    • British Dip: We intervene to help China.
  • Andorra: We continue to improve economy and military. Tourism is still be the biggest font of rediment. We ask the UK and Spain for a protection alliance.
  • Italy: We begin an invasion of the Balkans, and continue our invasion of Austria and Hungary. We would like aid from Russia. We use propaganda to employ more troops to fight against the Austrians. This is successful as we are able to employ 300,000 more troops to fight the Austrians. We send 600,000 to the Balkans while we send 400,000 to Austria. We help the Allies rebuild. We sanction Holland for spreading anti-Entente propaganda and demand them to stop immediately otherwise they'll be sorry. We offer the 'Munich Pact' to Germany, it is that we send economic aid and help to rebuild Germany if they give us South Germany. We will also help them to put down any rebellions in Germany and help them rebuild the infrastructure. We will have a non-aggressive pact with Germany and if Germany is attacked Italy would have to help them.
    • German Mod Response: Being desperate, we accept.
    • Germany and Italy don't even share a border. Not to mention the implausibility. ~AM
  • Sweden: We continue to militarise the troops and expand our economy. We still build more tanks and armoured vehicles at the factories while more defensive foritifications of bunkers and fortresses are built. The Scandinavian Union is still not yet discussed about it.
  • Nejd: Our leader Khalid Al-Hissan has spread propaganda of nationalism, aiming especially for the youth. We work on our economy and military and begin to look for oil. We begin an invasion of Emirate of Riyadah attacking Hafar Al Batin and Amman attacking into Jordan and northern Arabia. We begin to westernize allowing cars, cellphones and stuff like that.
  • Turkey: More mosques, harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. Roads, railways and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. We pick a new leader Abdullah Fevzi Şukri. Military bases are based at the borders of Turkey. We begin to westernize allowing cars, cellphones and stuff like that. We begin to work on an Air force. We begin to see rising tension between us and Persia, leading to the death of three border guards. We secretly begin to work on an independent Xinjiang looking for the right people and sending spies to rally the people.
  • Britain: Intervenes against Japan to help China, and sends troops to help china. mil turn. We would like to divide Germany along pre-unification lines, and Austria Hungary along OTL lines.
  • Argentina: We continue to have all ties with the Central Powers cut until they surrender. Following the Brazilian-Uruguayan alliance, we mobilise our forces along the border with Uruguay. With an election upcoming, however, we cannot afford to declare war. The South American Cold War continues as we begin to develop advanced military technology, beginning a technological arms race with Brazil. We request an alliance with Mexico, hoping to get one of the two Latin American superpowers(Other one being Brazil) on our side.
  • Serbia: We reiterate we would like to make Yugoslavia comprising of all former Ottoman lands in Europe and Serbian lands in the Balkans as well as Montenegro (MOD RESPONSE). We keep fighting the Austro-Hungarians and try to push north into their territory.
    • Montenegro accepts. (MOD)

1916.5[]

As the Entente fails to agree to a method of dealing with postwar Germany, popular revolts occur in Germany, especially amongst the Marxist Spartacist League led by Rosa Luxembourg and Karl Liebknecht. The Emirate of Nejd succeeds in invading the Emirate of Riyadh, thus uniting much of Arabia, including the Hejaz and Mecca, under its rule. Russia now controls Bohemia, Galicia and Transylvania. Italy gains control of Carniola. Serbia gains Herzegovina and the Southern half of Bosnia.  Albania agrees to join Yugoslavia, as do the parts of Austria-Hungary currently occupied by Serbia. And why exactly would they? They hate each other to the core, remember? ~AM As the Second Sino-Japanese War begins, Japan pushes in to Manchuria, capturing Shenyang and Dalian. Not a mod but could the people who play Russia, France and Britain just look Treaty of Versailles (The Global War Resurrected Map Game) and sort this out. We have won the war lets finish it (person67)

  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Empire of Japan: Using Shenyang and Dalian as FOBs (Forward Operating Bases), the All Han Chinese 105th Battalion marches to Qiqihar while the 95th Taihoku moves to surround Harbin with artillery. The 22nd Tokyo and 107th Kyoto light infantries push downwards towards Beijing and Shanghai. The 2nd fleet moves lands outside the beaches of Manchuria and deploys 4000 more troops from Taihoku. The 34th Heavy infantry pushes into Jilin.
We begin to see rising tension between us and Persia, leading to the death of 14 border guards.
    • Cell Phones don't exist yet ... ~Kaori
Korea would want all of Manchuria (except for a part of the Liaodong Peninsula) and parts of Inner Mongolia (the Hulunbuir, Hinggan, Tongliao, and Chifeng divisions). Korea participates in the invasion of China.
  • France: With a failure to agree on terms to divide Germany, we simply continue our occupation of the rhineland and annex Alsace-Lorraine. We invade China via French Indo-China, using 150,000 troops that have been restaioned since the endo of the war and, and an additional 150,000 recruits.
    • Korean Dip: France, Japan and Korea agreed in chat that this is how we will divide China. latest?cb=20151206053509
    • UK Dip: Hell, we'll kick you out of the entente if you don't stop.
  • Chinese Federation: Shocked, but unsurprised at Japan's sudden aggression, the Chinese Federation declares war on the Empire of Japan and her colonies. The 300,000 troops already stationed in Manchuria (see past turns) consolidate their forces in Harbin. With conscription already enacted by the army years before, China sees no trouble in acquiring able-bodied men to fight for the country. The armed forces sends an additional 900,000 men to Manchuria, and 400,000 men to south-western China to stop the invasion attempts made by the French, who seemed to suddenly be aggressive toward us for no apparent reason.  In the meantime, multiple layers of trench lines from Beijing to Harbin to aid in the defense of China. Artillery produced in Central China are also moved up into Manchura to help support the Chinese positions there. 250,000 men are stationed in Beijing, and 100,000 men in Shanghai. National outrage against Japanese and Manchus start, with frustrated soldiers turning ther weapons against Manchus in Manchuria. Diplomatic relations with the French government are cut, and their embassy burnt to ashes. With much of the coastal area under peril, fortifications are built in them while the government relocates to Xi'an. Farms are built in Central China and Inner Mongolia, while heavy industries continue to function in southern China. The production of weapons, most notably artillery pieces continue unabated and the military is hastily reformed introduce more regional diversity in its ranks, to prevent one unit from being a majority of one province. Since Britain has stood by our side against the Japanese threat, we offer to extend their lease on Hong Kong to 250 years, and give them the German and Austro-Hungarian concessions in China once the war is over. We offer the Russian Empire joint control of the railways in Manchuria and the territory of Tannu Tuva for their help in the war, to gain revenge from the humiliation suffered in the Russo-Japanese War. Chinese soldiers are welcomed in Bhutan, as they march into Thimpu unabated. (Turn Six of Six of influencing) (Mil/Eco)
    • What was the cause of the Russo-Japanese war? They wanted influence over Manchuria. I think they would rather invade you then help you.
    • Exactly. Read my offer to Russia about joint control of Manchuria's railways.
    • Russia is anti-Han Chinese (confirmed by a mod). Secondly, the Qing are nobles in Russia.
    • Korean Dip Korea will stop invading China if they give us Liaoning (at least the Liaodong peninsula) and all their ten million Manchus. Korea will in turn give $5 billion worth of reparations and sign a non-aggression pact lasting 20 years.
  • Switzerland: With countries setting up air forces we start to set up an Air Force in case of future conflicts and start construction of air bases in Geneva, Bern, Lugano, Zermatt, Davos Basel and Zurich. Research starts on continuous tracks, inspired from the Holt Manufacturing Company's invention of continoua tracks for researchers are trying to find a better way to deliver and supply materials and supplies in the mountainous areas of Switzerland and in the Alps. We continue to mobilise troops near Italy and Austria whilst starting to mobilise troops near the Lichtenstein Border. (Mil/Tech)
  • Russian Empire: Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia are given special status and autonomy. To crush the Austro-Hungarian resistance once and for all, both Russian armies come down upon Budapest at the same.
    • Hungary (Russian Puppet): Budapest is made de jure capital, although Debrecen serves as the de facto capital for now. Damages from the war are repaired.
    • Czechia (Russian Puppet): Czechia finally embraces peace. Prague is made capital. Damages from the war are repaired.
    • Prussia (Russian Puppet): Prussia finally embraces peace. Königsberg is made capital. Damages from the war are repaired.  **Brandenburg-Saxony (Russian Puppet): Brandenburg and Saxony finally embrace peace. Berlin is made capital. Damages from the war are repaired. The tension in Brandenburg-Saxony lowers considerately due to the announcement of independence.
    • To all mods: Russia'S turn needs to be remade. Talked with Tech, he'll do that later. ~AM
    • I don't see why it should be. Prussia and East Germany are occupied by me. The Germans surrendered and aren't fighting anymore, so the war there is practically over. ~Tech
    • Tech, there is no Bradenburg or Prussia or Czechia or Hungary YET! There are two things: The Russian Occupation Zone of Germany and the Russian Occupation Zone of Austria-Hungary. ~AM
    • The war in Germany is over, and Russia MADE Brandenburg-Saxony and Prussia. So is Czechia. Hungary isn't entirely made, as Budapest hasnt yet been taken. Tech
    • Tech, the fighting is over, yes. BUT THERE IS NO PEACE TREATY! SO STOP TRYING TO ALREADY IMPLEMENT IT. ~AM
  • Sweden: Our forces continue to recruit in the military as infrastructure expands and economy as well. The discussion about Scandinavian Union is still not yet announced. Swedish king thinks Scandinavian Union might be best option for Norway and Sweden to unite. Some tanks and armoured vehicles have been built and for more reason there will be more planned research of the army vehicles. Stockholm continue to expand its population slightly but not many.
    • Argentina: We condemn the Japanese-Chinese War and suggest they revert back to diplomacy. We continue to have our ties cut with the Central Powers until they surrender to the Entente. We continue to advance our technology in the South American Arms Race. The South American Cold War continues as we finish our mobilisation near Uruguay. In the 1916 Argentine Presidential Election, the Radical Civic Union wins with 43% of the vote, with the Conservatives getting only 17%.
    • Andorra: We continue to improve military and economy. We ask France, Spain and UK a protection alliance.
  • UK: Invades former Hanover, facing only limited resistance. We blockade Indo-China and continue to send troops to support the Chinese Federation. We bail out of the negotiations for the treaty of Versailles and disband the entente.
  • Yugoslavia: We offer Austria-Hungary peace if they evacuate Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia (MOD RESPONSE). We ask Macedonia to join Yugoslavia and that Greece are to pull their troops out of their taken land since the war is over (MOD RESPONSE). We continue to push against the Austro-Hungarians to the north until they make peace. We declare all three of the main Entente powers stupid for failing to create a peace in Europe due to a silly war elsewhere. We ask Italy to join us in offering peace to Austria-Hungary.

1917.0[]

Budapest falls to Russia, and Innsbruck falls to Italy. If the Austria-Hungary doesn't post this turn, they will surrender. China manages to hold off Japan at Changchun, but Japan successfully invades China at Tsingtao, a former German colony. Japan also begins to blockade Shanghai. Rosa Luxembourg and Karl Liebknecht take control of the Russian established new country of Brandenburg-Saxony, making it a Communist state. They then proceed to send Trotksy, who was in exile in Switzerland, back to Russia, hoping to start a Communist revolution.

  • Trotsky is imprisoned in Russia. I made that. Also, BRANDENBURG IS NOT A STATE. IT'S THE RUSSIAN OCCUPATION ZONE OF GERMANY. NO PEACE TREATY, NO DIVISION OF GERMANY. ~AM
  • In case I didn't make it clear enough, Russia isn't particularily bothered by a possible treaty. It's already created the states without caring for a peace.
  • OFFICIAL VERDICT: I uphold AM's decision about Trotsky. Russia is not in Communist revolution. But Russia made Brandenburg-Saxony independent, before AM crossed that out, which was when I wrote this event. I am undoing AM's crossouts on the Treaty of Versailles page. Brandenburg-Saxony is currently independent and Communist.  As the German Communists take control of the newly formed Brandenburg-Saxony, the Entente governments begin to believe that joint occupation of the remaining parts of Germany may be best, at least temporarily.
  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Empire of Japan: With Shanghai blockaded, we dispatch 14 regiments to march down the coast. The 213th Toyohara arrives in Manchuria and marches down towards Changchun, in hopes of seizing it from the Chinese. Gatling and Maxim guns begin to be used against trench lines and Chinese/British charges. Harbin is bombed. More divisions and regiments from Formosa and Koryo arrive and send down to attack Shanghai and the Hubei. We launch a seize on Beijing and Qiqihar. Using Tsingtao as an intelligence base, we send Chinese spies into Southern China and Tibet. The 29th Shinjuku and 12th Kunitachi moves into Tibet to help the Tibetans fight against the Chinese and British, arming them with Arisaka rifles, Maxim and Gatling guns. The 100th Hokkaido Cavalry rides town from Tsingtao to Anhui and Changchun. Ships are moved towards Hong Kong, as well as the ten regiments of troops from Central China, armed with heavy weapons and powerful Central Asian and Chinese stallions. We plan to meet the French forces in Hong Kong and Central Fujian.
  • 'Switzerland: We send delegates of the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) to POW Camps in Italy, Austria-Hungary, Japan, China, Korea, French Territories in Asia and Russia to make sure that they are meeting agreed International agreements for treatment of POWs. Air bases are still being built as we start to recruit more men to the military. Research on Continuous tracks continue as and idea of a gun carriage with Continuous tracks appears and is widely considered. Plans to make a gun carriage which uses continuous tracks and has a Gatling gun are made. The gun carriage will have the same design of a tractor with continuous tracks to ease mobility in rough terrain, a Gatling gun will be mounted on it. We continue mobilizing troops near the Lichtenstein Border and start to mobilize troops near the French and German border. (Mil/Tech)'
  • Empire of Korea: Korea is reformed as an unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy, with its imperial family (led by Emperor Yi Un) serving simply as figureheads while the parliament holding real power. Korea begins to westernise rapidly. Korea's economy continues to experience rapid growth, with family-owned industrial conglomerates called chaebols (similar to the Japanese zaibatsu) growing rapidly as well. Korea offers peace to China in exchange for all their ten million Manchus and the province of Liaoning as a concession. Korea participates in the invasion of China with 500,000 troops trying to take major population centres in Manchuria.
  • Chinese Federation: We decline Korea's peace offer. Mass conscription of the populace aims to raise raise the armed forces to 4.2 million men (roughly 1% of the population). Of these, one million additional men move into Manchuria supported by cavalry forces. A new military doctrine, where lightly armed soldiers and cavalry regiments encircle the enemy positions, splitting them up while the much more medium to heavily armed troops and artillery pieces move in for the kill. 250,000 troops are sent to Tsingtao to fortify the city, while a massive network of trenches  from Tsingtao to Xi'an, and Beijing to Harbin are built en masse by the populace. The navy moves into the cities' harbors to defend themselves. Operation Firecracker is launched in Manchuria, were 1.2 million soldiers, 3000 cavalry and 150 artillery pieces try to push the Japanese and Koreans out of Manchuria, and, if possible, push into Korea, ridding Japan of a stable base in mainland Asia (MORE TO COME)
    • Imperial Japanese Army: In response to Operation Firecracker, Operation Zenkai commences with the dispatchment of three Han Chinese and Korean regiments into Tibet and a line of Japanese trenches is set up along Tsingtao and northern Tibet.
    • Japanese Dip: Emperor Meiji and his cabinet offer to withdraw from China if the Empire of Japan acquires concessions to Shanghai, Beijing, Harbin, and Hainan and also considers changing sides in the war if the city of Tsingtao is included with the concessions.
    • China declines.
    • Korean Dip: Disregard the previous peace offer. Korea offers peace to China in exchange for all its 1ten million Manchus, nothing else. Korea opens its borders to all Manchu and Chinese ethnic minority refugees.
  • The Netherlands: The economy has begun to stabilize, but it is nowhere near the levels it had been at before the defeat of Germany. The government tries its best to alleviate the poverty, but knows it will be of limited use. The ideas of Marxism begin to take root among the lower classes, but the nobility knows that this cannot be allowed to continue. In order to give the people something to rally behind (and also to aid the righteous, punish the wicked and stuff) the Dutch army and navy begin an invasion of China. The military and navy begin recruiting, allowing in the poor and unemployed regardless of gender in hopes of stopping the spread of revolutionary ideas.
    • Why would the Netherlands even bother to invade China for no particular reason?
      • Well, the casus belli is the massacre of the Manchus from last turn, but the real reason is to give an excuse to recruit the poor and unemployed into the military so they can be too far away from the mainland (or too dead) to spread Communism, which has been gaining traction after the division of Germany (a major trade partner) and the Spartacist uprisings. Also, it would be nice to get some concessions from China ...
      • Tao, stop trying to "save" China because it's your real homeland. I believe the Netherland's reason of invasion is plausible. *Russian Empire: Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia are given special status and autonomy. Russian troops stop fighting Austria-Hungary and don't advance. Brandenburg-Saxony is abandoned.
    • Hungary (Russian Puppet): Budapest is made official capital, as it is now also taken.
  • Sweden: Our economy begins to extend its income. Normally we told Russian Empire that we demilitarised our islands and joined the Entente. We continue to recruit many Swedish troops in our military area to keep most of them. We probably aid the Russian Empire for its war in Austria-Hungary. (I think Sweden is right to aid Russian Empire, probably).
    • Entente is disbanded
  • Yugoslavia: We offer Austria-Hungary peace if they evacuate Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia (MOD RESPONSE). We ask Macedonia to join Yugoslavia and that Greece are to pull their troops out of their taken land since the war is over (MOD RESPONSE). We continue to push against the Austro-Hungarians to the north until they make peace. We declare all three of the main Entente powers stupid for failing to create a peace in Europe due to a silly war elsewhere. We ask Italy to join us in offering peace to Austria-Hungary. *Turkey: More harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. Roads, railways and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. We pick a new leader Yaser Fevzi Şukri (Abdullah Fevzi Şukri son) after, Abdullah Fevzi Şukri died of cancer. Military bases are based at the borders of Turkey. He begin to westernize allowing cars and begin to Europeanize and secularizing leading to Turkey's Imams and religious youth to distrust the Government and new Leader. We begin to work on an Air force. The gaps between the rich and normal joe.

1917.5[]

There has been some ambiguity and disagreement amongst mods, so here is the official situation: Brandenburg-Saxony is an independent country that has broken its intended ties with Russia and become a Communist state. The Monarchy remains in power in Russia.
Austria-Hungary surrenders. Hungary and Austria will separately negotiate with the countries that were fighting it. Bosnia and Macedonia agree to join Yugoslavia.
Japan makes no further gains in Manchuria, though it continues a blockade of China. Trench warfare may begin if China so chooses, though China's economy begins to see the effects of the blockade.
A major outbreak of influenza occurs, beginning in France, mainly as a result of poor sanitation during the war and overcrowding now that soldiers have returned. French people mainly blame Germany for the flu. The disease poses a large threat mainly because the hospitals were already occupied with wounded warriors and can spread easily.

  • Empire of Japan: An agreement is reach between the Chinese Federation and Empire of Japan (we spoke of it on chat). China will give Japan concessions to Shanghai and Harbin, in return for withdrawing from the war and giving the Chinese military jurisdiction over Koryo. We begin pulling troops off the front and back towards the coast, where ships are waiting to take the troops home. Conscription is lifted and many people welcome the return of the troops from the Chinese front. Imperial Japan Freightlines ships the 300,000 Manchus in Japanese borders to Seoul, Korean Empire.
    • Russian Dip: Do not withdraw from China, we are moving in.
  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Empire of Korea: Korea is reformed as an unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy, with its imperial family (led by Emperor Yi Un) serving simply as figureheads while the parliament holding real power. The military sees barely any improvement due to heavy emphasis on the modernisation and industrialisation attempt. Korea offers peace to China in exchange for all their ten million Manchus. Korea participates in the invasion of China with 300,000 troops trying to take major population centres in Manchuria. Korea condemns Japan's peace agreement, leaving Korea prone to Chinese invasion
    • Chinese Dip: China will not accept any peace offer except unconditional surrender
  • Sweden: We continue to expand economy and infrastructure. We also build mor several defending fortifications for more protection than others. Our military continues to recruit more Swedish troops, as some of the planned nation of Scandinavian Union will be set on hold. Weapons continue to be built and receive Swedish troops.
  • Why Entente is disbanded? Great showing. B23 (talk) 13:03, December 8, 2015 (UTC)
  • Because Entente is not a very strong alliance. File:Prinsenvlag.svg Hail Sean! (Get a free potato here)

  • Argentina: We embargo France until the Influenza Epidemic is ended. We continue a major military buildup in the South American Cold War. In the South American Arms Race, we develop a primitive military aircraft, designed to help cross the Andes. Our navy "accidentally" bombs a minor Uruguayan port, causing an international incident. We increase naval patrols. (Technology/Military turn)
  • Russian Empire: Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia are given special status and autonomy. Russia declares war upon China and moves its troops into Mongolia.
      • Hungary (Russian Puppet): Budapest is made official capital, as it is now also taken.
  • Yugoslavia: We ask Slovenia, Albania and Croatia to join Yugoslavia. While we stop our push on the military but start to focus more on the industry and economy of our nation making a united currency and in time a language. This is while we build basic roads across our country.
  • Turkey: More harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. Roads, railways and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. The gaps between the rich and normal joe begin to rise. We embargo France until the Influenza Epidemic is ended. We continue a major military buildup. We ask the UK, France, Japan, Russia, Germany and China. We secretly begin to let German troops and leaders seek asylum in Turkey.

1918.0[]

The influenza outbreak spreads throughout Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and North America. It causes minor deaths in the US, but major deaths in Europe. The epidemic, coupled with destruction from war, causes a major decline in business in Europe, leading to a stock market crash in the London Stock Exchange.

China successfully fends off a Korean invasion of Manchuria, but resorts to scorched earth tactics in Mongolia against Russia.

Russia makes gains but begins to suffer losses, especially as disease begins to spread.

And why would Influenza break out? The war didn't develop into a trench war, nor did it have many casualties. As such the outbreak is inplausible.

It is plausible. There still would've been poor hygiene, many soldiers in closed quarters,

  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Empire of Korea: Korea continues to westernise rapidly. Korea's economy continues to experience rapid growth, with family-owned industrial conglomerates called chaebols (similar to the Japanese zaibatsu) growing rapidly as well. Korea offers peace to China in exchange for all their ten million Manchus (China hates them anyway, why not send this "disease" to Korea?). Korea participates in the invasion of China with 300,000 troops trying to take major population centres in Manchuria. Korea aids Russian forces in Mongolia. Korea would like to cooperate with Russia and France in how the three powers will split China, please state claims/dibs below.
    • Korean Dip: Dibs on Manchuria.
  • Chinese Federation: As stated before, and as stated again, China will not any treaty with Korea, with the exception of unconditional surrender. Operation Firecracker continues unabated, with 650,000 soldiers pushing into Korea, bent on taking everything from Seoul to Ulsan (excluding Japanese-held areas). We acknowledge the peace treaty with Japan, but our citizens remain worried that a third war with Japan might begin. Seeing  the Russian invasion of our borders, we evacuate Mongolia and destroy any possible resource the Russians could use against us, including, but not limited to; farms and armories. Workers from the trench network in Eastern China are now in charge of enlarging the network across Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang. Roughly 1.5 million soldiers are positioned from Xinjiang to Inner Mongolia, with another one million in Manchuria. Soldiers fighting the French resort to guerrilla warfare in the jungles of Southwest China The railway system now connects all of Coastal China, from British Hong Kong to Harbin, and Beijing to Tibet province, making the transfer of goods, commodities, and personnel much more efficient. The government enacts a law regarding the Manchus, who are now regarded as filth in the eyes of the Han. Manchus may serve in the military, and in exchange, shall be guaranteed protection in certain areas of Manchuria, and only those areas, as hatred against them still burns. Shanghai overtakes Beijing as the largest city in the Federation, boomed by the steadily increasing economy, while Guangzhou continues to be developed as a hub for science and heavy industry. Guangdong now bears the largest GDP in all of China. The government, wary of the London Stock Exchange crash and the influenze outbreak, try to defend China from these threats. Tight control of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, trying to stop bankruptcies from occuring, and heavy screening of foreigners from disease-infected countries, most especially Europe, are made. The military continues to improve, with an estimate of 4.8 million men in active service due to the war. China successfully tests out military aircraft in Tibet, but use and exploitation of it remain undecided. Rifles and artillery pieces continue to be made, while more horses are domesticated. (Mil/Eco)
    • Korean Dip: Korea declines unconditional surrender since it'll bring humiliation. Korea rebuffs its peace offer. Korea has no choice but to temporarily retake Koryo. Korea heavily fortifies Korean-controlled Manchurian areas. Compulsory military service begins as the army grows to roughly one million people (North Korea had nearly a tenth of its population serving military). Korea reminds China that its economy is doing as well, if not better and that China lags in terms of development in nearly all areas (Korea had been rapidly developed at a rate similar to the OTL sixties and seventies Park regime since 1897, the date of the Gwangmu Reform).
    • Chinese Dip: We would also like to remind Korea that without Japanese military support, Korea has outdated equipment, and little knowledge about military tactics. We also outnumber all of Korea with more than 400 million people to spare, which could give China a massive military should we decide to increase the amount of mass conscription. Also, I don't think Japan would let you control their former occupation zones in Manchuria, and without Japan, I'm pretty sure I can push 300,000 men out of Manchuria. In terms of economy, I highly doubt that Korea can zip past China in less than a decade, hell, even less than five years, even if you double your economy in those years.
    • Korean Dip: The years since the Gwangmu Reform have seen a partial modernisation in all sectors of society, as well as partial westernisation. If China were to be reduced to Korea's size, Korea can easily compete with China. Oh, and a mod (via chat) confirmed I'm doing better than China economically (higher growth + China's GDP per capita is only 60% of Korea's), and will always be ahead of China. Oh and have you seen Korean economic growth during the Park regime, it was crazy. According to available sources, the years during the Gwangmu Reform seen similar growth, or otherwise between 7% and 12%.
  • Sweden: Seeing the Russian Empire invading China, we continue to recruit more Swedish troops in order to gain more total of troops. Infrastructure and economy continues to increase as some based military defence buildings might be built in the area. Bunkers and fortresses are defensive fortification that has been built in one of our borders of Stockholm and Malmo - which two cities gain more population. The rumours about Scandinavian Union can be united with Norway. Swedish King denies the rumors, saying that the Scandinavian Union is still not option and can be planned in the future.
  • Andorra: We continue to improve military and economy. The population is growing up as tourism is the principal font of work and rendiment in the country. Our industry is very poor as the agriculture, due to the mountains. We need to have a good economy, I ask a protecion alliance to UK, Spain and France.
  • Yugoslavia: We ask Slovenia, Albania and Croatia to join Yugoslavia. While we stop our push on the military but start to focus more on the industry and economy of our nation making a united currency and in time a language. This is while we build basic roads across our country. (If there is an influenza outbreak we declare a total quarantine with no one allowed to enter)

1918.5[]

The disease begins to die out in most of Europe and North America, though it still sees victims in the Middle East and North Africa. It has now taken the lives of about 15 million people worldwide, which is way more than the war did and it infected about 90 million.

The economies of Europe continue to decline, causing minor political stirrings, especially in Russia, which is feeling the economic effects of the crash, the disease, and the war.

In Manchuria, China and Korea seem to have reached a stalemate slightly North of the Yalu River, and Trench warfare begins between the two sides. China continues to see large losses to Russia in the North, with Russia begining to invade Inner Mongolia. However, British troops, based in Australia, manage to blockade French Indochina and stop an invasion of China from the South.

As the status of the Western section of Germany remains up for dispute, French and British troops occupying Germany begin to fear that a European war could develop as a result of the war in Asia. Meanwhile, Brandenburg-Saxony considers attempting to expand further West into Germany.

  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
    • Korean Dip: Please aid France on its military campaign for Southern China.
  • Turkey: More harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. Roads, railways and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. We pick a new leader Yaser Fevzi Şukri (Abdullah Fevzi Şukri's son) after Abdullah Fevzi Şukri died of cancer. Military bases are based at the borders of Turkey. We begin to westernize allowing cars and begin to Europeanize and secularize, banning the Arabic way of calling the Azana replacing it with Turkish leading to Turkey's Imams and religious youth to distrust the government and new Leader, leading to protest. We begin to work on an Air force. The gaps between the rich and poor begin to rise, leading to protest. We embargo Europe seal our borders and keep our infected isolated and begin to work on a cure until the Influenza Epidemic is ended. We secretly send spies and weaponry to Xinjang to help cause a Turkish rebellion and rally the people in hopes of making a Turkish puppet.
    • Korean Dip: Korea funds secessionist movements in Xinjiang. Korea urges Russia to allow Turkish troops to cross the border to Western China.
  • Empire of Korea: Korea continues to westernise rapidly due to an enforced westernisation policy, though traditions are still celebrated. Korea's economy continues to experience rapid growth, with family-owned industrial conglomerates called chaebols (similar to the Japanese zaibatsu) growing rapidly as well. The production of commodities increases and profit from exports are used for further industrial expansion. Thousands of labourers flock to growing urban centres located primarily in the Han River region and coastal regions in the Southeast, Ulsan's population reaches a million. In order to control inflation, a conservative monetary policy and tight fiscal measures are adopted. Infrastructure, both urban and rural is improved. Agricultural output per capita and healthcare is improved, lowering mortality rates dramatically. Korea offers peace to China in exchange for all their ten million Manchus and a non-aggression pact lasting for two decades. Korea participates in the invasion of China with 400,000 troops, but now the strategy has changed, now most of the Korean military (300,000) aims to gain control over less densely populated areas to the north. However, a 70,000 troops in Korean Manchuria (see map) try to take the land north of the Amnok (Yalu) River from the East. 30,000 troops in the Sino-Korean boundary continue to defend the areas south of the Amnok (Yalu) River. The Chinese in occupational zones are given equal civil rights and many are given jobs in Seoul and P'yongyang in order to reduce rampant unemployment.
    • Has Wild not told you that you don't have ALL of Korea?
    • I know, but I have approximately half of the Sino-Korean border. Stop opposing Candy rule you cannibal (you eat candies)!
    • Korean Dip (to France + Russia): Korea tries to communicate with both powers on how they will divide China. (I already put France's (via chat) and Korea's claims, but I only assumed that Russia will claim Outer and Inner Mongolia.
      File:Partitioned China.jpg
  • UK: Declares a state of open war against France,Korea and Russia.
China successfully tests out military aircraft in Tibet, but use and exploitation of it remain undecided. Rifles and artillery pieces continue to be made, while more horses are domesticated. (Mil/Eco)
  • Sweden: Economy and infrastructure increases, as some of the strange things that might happen in Europe, the diseases grow and it puts many Swedish peoples in doubt of living. We continue to help and stop the diseases growing unless it gets much worse. Swedish troops normally are joining the military on course of training courses. Rumours of Scandinavian Union still growing up but it's still not set on the table. It will be further discussed with the decision of Swedish king. More buildings and even defensive military bunkers and fortresses built.
  • Andorra: Due to the disease, we send to all people of Andorra, a letter talking about going to the highest mountains, living there until the epidemy ends. We start to build Automobile Industry and Textile Industry. The inflaction tax is continue to be big, but despise that, we continue to improve our economy and infrastructures, it's started the project of the elaboration of a plan for the people, economy, military, infrastructures and Social Security. The project is called "Andorra 1918 - 1928", it's a plan to accomplish in this next ten years. We ask an economic alliance with Sweden. (We don´t need anymore a protection alliance, as the "Andorra 1918 - 1928" plan is going to be accomplish)
    • Swedish Dip: We accept the economic alliances and wishes for a further trade agreement with Andorra.
  • Empire of Japan: With the Japanese withdrawal from the war, the government implements a new urbanization project in Toyohara. Troops stationed in the Japanese concessions in China stay on heavy guard due to the continued war between the Empire of Korea and Chinese Federation. The Imperial Japanese Navy builds up and sends two expeditions into the Central Pacific. We send an ambassador to the United States in hopes of acquiring the island of Guam.
  • Argentina: As the disease dies out, we remove most of our worldwide embargoes. We restart our plans to invade the Falklands while Britain is distracted with France. The South American Cold War continues as we begin to fire artillery on Uruguay. In the South American Arms Race, we begin to send out military aircraft to our air force. War is coming to South America, very soon... (Navy/Military turn)
  • Yugoslavia: We would really like Slovenia, Albania and Croatia to join Yugoslavia. While we stop our push on the military but start to focus more on the industry and economy of our nation making a united currency and in time a language. This is while we build basic roads across our country. (If there is an influenza outbreak we declare a total quarantine with no one allowed to enter) We send declare war on Britain for their stupid aggression and offer the Russians full use of an expeditionary force consisting off 90,000 soldiers.
  • That's a bad reason to declare a war, plus why would you care?
  • Russia are my ally. It is not a silly reason to declare war Britain just declared war on my two allies and I am supporting them.
  • You're not at war with Britain. -Vatonica

1919.0[]

Sorry this turn is late. We just missed a day.

The influenza epidemic is declared over by American scientists.

The embargoes and war cause the global economy to continue to collapse.

With Britain and France now at war, Britain gains naval supremacy over France in the English Channel, allowing them to launch an amphibious invasion next turn. However, the British troops already in Europe, which were occupying Germany, are losing most battles to French troops.

Meanwhile, Russia begins to make a push towards Beijing in China, cutting of the Chinese troops from the Korean Front. China sees victories in Korea but has trouble getting reinforcements there due to Russian advances. Australia and British troops continue to blockade French Indochina and invades it, forcing the Southern Chinese front to end, and French troops withdraw to fight the Australian invasion.

Brandenburg-Saxony, hoping to gain a larger share of the occupied areas of Germany, begins to send troops into those areas now that the French and German troops have been pulled out for the new war.

  • Argentina: With the epidemic completely over, we remove all remaining embargoes. We try and improve our economy to deal with the damage done by our embargoes. As a result of this, we end all hostile action against Uruguay before war begins. However, we now begin to send ships incredibly close to the Falklands while Britain is distracted. Operation: Liberation is drawn up, a planned invasion of the Falklands.
    • UK: Do not invade the Falklands or there will be consequences
    • Korea: You aren't supposed to know?
    • China: Well, if Argentina moves ships 'incredibly close to the Falklands, British forces would undoubtedly see that and assume an invasion.
    • Argentina: Consequences? You're already fighting France and Russia.
  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Turkey: More harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. Roads, railways and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. We pick a new leaderYaser Fevzi Şukri (Abdullah Fevzi Şukri's son) after Abdullah Fevzi Şukri died of cancer. Military bases are based at the borders of Turkey. We begin to westernize allowing cars and begin to Europeanize and secularize, leading to Turkey's Imams and religious youth to distrust the government and new Leader, leading to protest. We begin to work on an Air force. The gaps between the rich and poor begin to rise, leading to protest. We secretly send spies and weaponry to Xinjang to help cause a Turkish rebellion and rally the people in hopes of making a Turkish puppet. The Turkish government open fire on protester leading to poster becoming more and more violent until most to all turned Islamic, Yaser Fevzi Şukri ask the UK and Persia (mod for non players) for asylum as he and his family hides. With Rebels control of 85 percent of the country named "Islamic Movement of Turkey" with their leader Sultan' 'Izz al-Din Ghufran Iskandar in Rebel control Istanbul.
Korea offers to sign a non-aggression pact with China in exchange for Manchuria. Korea destroys key supply routes in Manchuria to constrict the Chinese of supplies. With Manchuria isolated (the Russians captured Beijing), Korea requests Japan to intervene on the side of the Koreans, the French, and the Russians. Korea begins to push into Manchuria, while a policy enforcing mandatory military participation between 20 and 25 doubles our army from one-half to one million troops (5.4% of the total population).
    • There's a difference between making a push and capturing.
    • Your supply of troops to the Korean front is, fortunately, cut off. It had explicitly been stated in the mod events.
    • No. China's supply line is close to being cut off. Korea's is still pretty clear, though they are still outnumbered (for now). At this point, Korea should basically go for inflicting casualties over gaining ground.
  • Russian Empire: Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia are given special status and autonomy. Russia makes a push for Beijing, but before starting a true siege, Russia offers to prevent the inevitable massacre with the following terms(terms) will be beneath the post. Seeing the British betrayal, Czar Mikhail(that's his name right?) simply laughs at this ignorance and sends Russian troops still in the West to guard the coast. The Russian navy is ordered to patrol the Baltic Sea and report and destroy any British ship it sees, as long as it is possible to engage it(if not, then they only report).
    • Hungary (Russian Puppet): Budapest is made official capital, as it is now also taken.
Prussian soldiers are ordered to watch the German events closely, but not to intervene.
    • RUSSIAN TERMS TO CHINA
      • The Russian Empire takes control over Inner and Outer Mongolia.
      • The Korean Empire takes control over half of Manchuria
      • Tibet gains independence and will sign an alliance with Russia, which will protect Tibetan independence
      • Xinjiang/East Turkestan gains independence and will sign an alliance with Russia, which will protect Turkestani interest.
      • China signs an NAP with both Russia and Korea.'
  • Sweden: Meanwhile, we continue to improve our infrastructure and economy, during some rumours based on Scandinavian Union plan on the future is not secretly announced yet. Swedish king thinks that Scandinavian Union will not be the option to be revealed with Norway to be united together to be called Scandinavian Union. Some more defensive fortifications and more cities are built while more troops join the army to begin recruit themselves for good. With our economic alliance to Andorra we hope to improve relations with them.
  • Yugoslavia: Seeing we have no place within this Manchurian war while we still back Russia we will not aid them directly. Due to the deteriorating situation in Croatia and Slovenia and a wish to protect our ethnic brethren we move troops into Croatia and if we take that into Slovenia. While we do not wish to encounter unrecognized government forces in the event we deem them threatening the lives of civilians which we know they are we will remove them as a threat to their people. Our main force strikes straight for Zagreb and once that is taken we will then move to set up a regional semi- autonomous government as part of Yugoslavia. If all attacks go according to plan we will then move into the area of Slovenia and take the capital to protect its people. We suspend our public works program while our people are at war.
  • Empire of Japan: Protection of our concessions in China continue as the invasion of China is still going. The Imperial Japanese Navy continues its naval expeditions in the Central Pacific. The Japanese Embassy in Shanghai is completed. Daily life in other areas continues as is. An Ambassabor is sent to San Francisco in hopes of acquiring the island of Guam from the United States of America.
  • Andorra: The first steps of the "Andorra 1918 - 1928" plan are finished, building an underground transport in Andorra La Vella. The people will go to the work more faster than ever. The people are returning back to her houses because of the annucement that the influenza epidemy ended. We continue to make Andorra be the country that all inhabitants dream, the next steps of the plan "Andorra 1918 - 1928" are going to be aproved by the governament. The economic alliance between us and Sweden will be a strong start for begin good relationships with them.

1919.5[]

Britain makes amphibious landings in France. The French see some early losses. However, their military losses are small, and the larger losses are economic as a result of a blockade and loss of some occupied land to Brandenburg-Saxony.  Russia, having held off from Beijing this turn, make some gains in the western part of China. However, China is able to bring reinforcements in to fight Korea, enough to push them back over the Yalu River, inflicting a large amount of damage in the Korean army. Korea is also suffering economically from having such a large amount of their population in the army.
' All three sovereign states have signed a non-aggression pact. Korea gained half of Manchuria while Russia gained Inner and Outer Mongolia.

US sells Guam to Japan.

Australia begins an invasion of French Indochina, landing at Da Nang.

  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Turkey: More mosques, madrasa, harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. Roads, railways and farms are built or improved and cities continue to grow. Education is improved and more educational buildings are built. We pick a new Sultan Izz al-Din Ghufran Iskandar. Military bases are based at the borders of Turkey. We begin to westernize allowing cars, cellphones and stuff like that. We begin to work on an Air force. Yaser Fevzi Şukri's brothers were found hiding by the Meso-Turkish border trying to escape and was later shot by a firing squad, with rumors of the Meso government giving Yaser asylum, due to this tension go sour between us, leading us to a military invasion of Mesopotamia with 30,000 troops and 200 planes bombing Meso cities, after the death of 16 border guards and two weeks of shelling of each other.
  • Sweden: The economy and infrastructure continues to increase. With accepting Andorra for an economic alliance, we'll have a good relationship with Andorra which might allow us to trade with them also. We wish Andorra for their plan Andorra 1918 - 1928 for a good work of their constructions. Meanwhile, we continue to build more buildings and defensive fortifications close to the borders. Although Scandinavian Union is still not yet planned and as usual could not be approved by Swedish king. We plan to build more roads and highways. Even railway systems and companies to ensure better transport to Norway.
  • Empire of Korea: Korea continues to westernise rapidly due to an enforced westernisation policy, though age-old traditions are still celebrated. Korea's economy continues to experience rapid growth, with family-owned industrial conglomerates called chaebols (similar to the Japanese zaibatsu) growing rapidly as well. With the acquisition of Southern Manchuria, Korea quickly utilises available raw materials to lift Korea the need for imports, thus making it self-sufficient and less prone. This contrasts with Japan, which has barely any raw materials whatsoever and is prone to economic collapse if its access to raw materials is constricted. Thousands of labourers flock to growing urban centres located primarily in the Han River region and coastal regions in the Southeast, metropolitan Ulsan's population surpasses a million. In order to control inflation a conservative monetary policy and tight fiscal measures are adopted. Infrastructure, both in urban and rural areas is improved.
  • Andorra: The industrialization of Andorra is the second law aproved of the plan Andorra 1918 - 1928, we need to give work to more people, men or women. The approved laws are that the "work period" is from 18 years of age to 65 (55 in construction) and the women, men from 17 years and beyond can vote for the king (Andorra is an elective monarchy). The education is great moral value, so the schooling period will be increased to the 12th year (1st to 12th). It's started the construction of two universities, La Massana (Geology) and Andorra La Vella (Languages and Arts). We continue to improve relations with Sweden, making enough trades to accomplish the plan Andorra 1918 - 1928 and beyond, we will make more trades with Sweden for improving relationships and we will help Sweden with money to create the Scandinavian Union.
  • The Netherlands: Seeing the war in China over, the rather-uneventful invasion of China is ended, with the navy being moved to the East Indies for the time being. Military recruitment is forced to slow down, with the troops that had been moved overseas (~15,000) being returned to the Netherlands over the course of the rest of the year. Economic policy becomes of the utmost importance, and the government begins to increase the size of the (partially armed) cargo fleet, with a cargo ship beginning construction in the country. The government begins to believe that Flanders rightly belongs to the Netherlands. (Eco/Navy)
  • Russian Empire: Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia are given special status and autonomy. Czar Mikhail announces administrative reforms into a federation of sorts. The Empire will remain an empire, but will take on a form similar to present-day Russia. Mongolia is incorporated into the Empire. A sneak attack on the British Isles is arranged.
  • Hungary (Russian Puppet): Budapest is made official capital, as it is now also taken.
Prussian soldiers are ordered to watch the German events closely, but not to intervene.
      • How could you get to Britain? You have a horrible navy.
  • Yugoslavia: We continue our invasion of Croatia and Slovenia using our military forces and will only halt once both countries are secured.
  • Nejd: We announce that we change our name to the Republic of Quzdain and create a parliament. We also lead an invasion towards Kuwait.

1920.0[]

With the war in China over, Australia still makes some gains in Indochina, but not as quickly as expected.

Britain is now fighting just France and Russia. The British navy blockades the Baltic Sea, in order to stop Russia from getting to France by sea, and also to cripple their economy. Brittany and Normandy are now under British control, through France is strong Northwest of Paris.

Brandenburg-Saxony is essentially its own, third side to the war, and is expanding rapidly retaking western territory from France. However, it seems a bit unprepared should Russia choose to invade.

Quzdain conquers Kuwait from Britain, as most of the British forces in the Middle East are focused on the Suez.

Yugoslavia now controls Croatia, though Italy warns them against invading Slovenia.

  • Sweden: Swedish Prime Minister now plans to create Scandinavian Union in 1921 thanks to Andorra. Meanwhile, he says the Scandinavian Union also needs Norway to unite as well to make union look better officially. As most of it, more Swedish troops join the military as we reach up the total of 1.2 million. We continue to work hard on infrastructure and economy for our nation as more of our buildings and cities continue to be built in not all cities but in Malmo. Population is growing in Stockholm. With its creation, we might be very pleased with Andorra who may help to create the Scandinavian Union.
  • Siam: Siam builds up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh continues plans of reforms for the nation.
  • Argentina: We are once again forced to abolish our plans for the invasion of the Falklands, due to British victories. We continue to boost our economy, in the aftermath of the economic reccession. The South American Cold War continues as we begin bombing parts of Brazil. We develop a finalised military bomber aircraft. Following this, we instruct a private company to build a model for us.
  • Italy: We officially declare war on Yugoslavia after they begin invading Slovania. We send an amphibious force on a coastal invasion of Yugoslavia and we send thousands of men to defend Slovenia and begin to attack and defend Croatia. We secretly say to Croatia if we defeat Yugoslavia then we secure them independence and we get the rest of the land from Yugoslavia (mod response). we use propaganda to make more men fight for Italy. This works successfully. We don't get involved with the war against Britain. (Mil/infa)
  • Empire of Japan: With the acquistion of Guam, we begin settling our people there and building cities there. More cities are built up on the home islands and more highways are built. The Imperial Japanese Navy increases its presence in the Central Pacfic, sending military ambassadors to the Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji and Palau. Naval forces use Guam as a strategic location to SE Asia and Oceania. We move ships into Tonga and annex it.
  • Yugoslavia: We move our main force into defending our territory in Croatia and give them autonomous status. We have not actually moved into Slovenia yet don't move into it and attempt to hold the Italian barbarians back as they advance. We ask France, Britain and Russia to end their dispute and offer to if they wish use Yugoslavia as a mediator since our contribution has been small. We call this a war of slavic survival with people in Slovenia encourage to rebel against the Italian occupiers while in our own nation we raise troops to defend the homeland against the aggressors. We call on the international community to condemn this unjust attack as we were merely trying to restore order in Croatia.
  • Ottoman Republic: More mosques, madrasa, harbors, militaristic buildings and more houses, cultural and public buildings, markets, shops, factories and mining plants are built. We begin to work on an Air force. rumors of the Meso government giving Yaser asylum, due to this tension go sour between us, leading us to a military invasion of Mesopotamia with 30,000 troops and 200 planes. Seeing our invasion of Meso was good, we begin an invasion of Basra taking it over in days due to its being small. Yaser was found hiding at the Persian-Turkish border and was gunned down by two militiamen. We rename Turkey the Ottoman Republic.
  • The Netherlands: The Dutch government continues to work on the merchant fleet with the economy beginning to recover from its earlier collapse with newly-resurgent trade. We continue to believe that Flanders rightly belongs to the Netherlands, with the government promoting the idea of a reunification of the Dutch-speaking populations of Flanders with the Netherlands. We secretly offer France a deal to split Belgium, with France taking primarily French-speaking Wallonia and the Netherlands taking primarily Dutch-speaking Flanders. We begin to make preparations for the liberation of Flanders, starting with increased expansion of the army and work beginning on an air force. (Army/Navy)

DONE[]

This game has been very fun, but there simply aren't enough people playing it, so it doesn't seem realistic for it to continue. Therefore, I'm shutting it down. This is probably the last version of TGW for a while, we'll see what my next map game is. Sorry this one didn't pick up enough followers to continue.

Vatonica (talk) 11:42, December 15, 2015 (UTC)

I think the game can definitely continue, but it's your judgment. If you shut it down now then it's done no matter what. I'd just try to keep it going for a few more days and then see if it can go on. ~Tech
