New England is considered by many to be the oldest of the old when it comes to Old America, the last bastion of colonial culture. Made up of the former states and provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Upstate New York, New England stands as the most European state in the Union. With its main industry in Shipping and Fishing, New England's share of the global market hasn't really changed much from when it was a British Colony.
